It is good to give thanks to the LORD,
to sing praises to your name, O Most High;
to declare your steadfast love in the morning,
and your faithfulness by night. Psalm 92:1-2

According to an online Mayo Clinic Health System article (Tuesday, December 6, 2022), “Expressing gratitude is associated with a host of mental and physical benefits. Studies have shown that feeling thankful can improve sleep, mood, and immunity. Gratitude can decrease depression, anxiety, difficulties with chronic pain and risk of disease. If a pill that could do this, everyone would be taking it. Your brain is designed to problem-solve rather than appreciate. You often must override this design to reap the benefits of gratitude.”

The Holy Scriptures, when practiced, guide us into right ways of the LORD that produce life more abundant. This month let’s transform the quality of our lives, and the lives of those around us, by focusing on His word of instruction to give thanks. I beseech you to really make a focus of retraining your brain by looking for and proclaiming the things that you are thankful for this month. Our forefathers, in the USA, felt it was so important that, we have the holiday of Thanksgiving; and most importantly we find, in Leviticus 23, the Feast of Tabernacles as the LORD’s holiday of thanksgiving.

Let’s awaken each day with 5 minutes to look for something that is good in our personal lives, and then journal this unto the LORD with thankfulness. As you launch into your day, look for at least 1-2 persons who blessed you in any small or big way. Take a moment to thank and appreciate them. And finally at the end of your day, before turning off the light to go to sleep, think upon your day to revel over 1-2 things you were thankful to the LORD for, and write them down in your “Thankful Journal.” Let’s be the one who returns to the LORD to thank Him (Luke 17:11-19). Your month-long actions of thankfulness and thanksgiving will change your life mentally, physically, and socially. You’ll positively impact those around you, but most of all, you’ll bring your Father such joy and experience His abounding love.

When they had approached Jerusalem and had come to Bethphage, at the Mount of Olives, Jesus then sent two disciples, saying to them, “Go into the village opposite you, and immediately you will find a donkey tied there and a colt with it. Untie them and bring them to Me. And if anyone says anything to you, you shall say, ‘The Lord needs them,’ and he will send them on immediately.” Now this took place so that what was spoken through the prophet would be fulfilled: “Say to the daughter of Zion, ‘Behold your King is coming to you, Humble, and mounted on a donkey, Even on a colt, the foal of a donkey.’” The disciples went and did just as Jesus had instructed them, and brought the donkey and the colt, and laid their cloaks on them; and He sat on the cloaks. Matthew 21:1-7

Our LORD continually speaks to us through the physical world. Though we look at everything for its face value, the LORD’s Spirit resounds with unending life and depth of meaning through His physical creation. When Yeshua walked on earth He continually spoke in parables, so that His disciples would awaken to spiritual realities through what they knew to be true in the physical world that surrounded them.

Recently the Holy Spirit softly and subtly released a picture of a donkey that walked along side of me on my left side. The LORD revealed that as I was sojourning this “Donkey” was constantly at my left side, walking with me toward my destination. The Donkey quietly spoke, “Won’t you throw your load on My back?” At that very moment I saw that the donkey, in a spirit sense, was actually Yeshua. The donkey was a gentle, faithful servant to me that was ALWAYS at my side as I traversed through life in pursuit of completing Father’s purpose for me on earth. As donkeys serve to carry loads, so Yeshua is there to carry our loads, if we will only throw our packs onto His back. Throughout each day, open your spiritual eyes to see your faithful, consistent Yeshua ready at your side to carry your load, if you will but throw the pack upon His back.

Amidst the rush of life, with all its details, complexities, delusions and deceptions, our Father calls us to take “time outs” with Him. Good parents often call their children to sit and take “time outs” to reflect on their thoughts and actions, and to re-set themselves into thoughts and actions that are good, true and life-producing. So today, let’s obediently pause to think on God to reset our thoughts and actions with His truth and realities.

After asking the LORD for a dream that would portray what He would have me write to you about, He gave me a dream with a clear message. The essence of the message was this: Living apart from God, we become base, with no regard for the soul, the Spirit of God, nor the infinite nature of God’s beauty. True relationships of love and trust become nonexistent, and Satan prevails.

Beloved, we must take moments to reset ourselves with the Creator. Lift one hand up and place the other hand upon your chest, and proclaim truth over yourself, your loved ones and those you meet: LORD, I am your son (your daughter), formed in your image. You have created my heart, my mind, and my soul for Your divine, eternal & specific purposes. I am Your chosen vessel of honor, cleansed by Jesus and called to glorify Your Name. My physical body has been beautifully formed for the purpose of carrying Your heart and Spirit. My physical body is not formed for mere fleshly, fleeting purposes. I am not created for the glory of myself nor any man, but for YOUR glory. May Your gospel of Love and Glory prevail on earth through my life.

For by Him all things were created … all things have been created through Him and for Him. Col 1:16

Rabbi has never taken such a strong stand on an issue that impacts our society as he is right now. As I stand at his side, I have seen the Spirit of God arise in him like a fire in his belly. The LORD has inspired Him to rise up with an army to raise the rainbow as a symbol of God’s righteous, covenant love for His set apart people.

As I seek the LORD on why He has so impacted my husband at such a time as this, I see the utter depravity of mankind and Yeshua Ha Mashiach crying out to rescue Father’s sons and daughters from a trajectory of destruction and death. I see the righteous LORD who loves His creation just the way He created them.

During the days of Noah the LORD, in love and righteousness, destroyed mankind because people lived apart from Him and His ways. The Creator created male and female in His image, and His image is that of a reproducing Being that bubbles up with new life every day. He strategically saved males and females that reproduce His love and life, and then raised a rainbow that reached from the heavens down to the earth to mark His covenant of reproducing love, light, and life with those who seek Him.

As a weeping prophet who uses unordinary means of awakening God’s people (see Isaiah, Jeremiah, John the Baptist), Rabbi cries out in unordinary ways to awaken God’s people to the utter depravity of mankind and the need for God’s people to arise in God’s righteousness before it’s too late. Yeshua and His final judgement are coming soon, and there is a line being drawn in the sand. The rainbow must be raised to be revealed as God’s covenant with man for salvation.

“Like the appearance of the rainbow … Such was the appearance of the likeness of the glory of the Lord. And when I saw it, I fell on my face … Ezekiel 1:28”

Every single person needs hope in this fallen (and falling!) world. When you stop to face and process the circumstances and the threats of disaster & destruction to your body, mind, and spirit, it’s overwhelming! The threats are real. We have an adversary, the devil, prowling about as a roaring lion, seeking to devour us all (I Peter 5:8).

But be greatly encouraged today, my beloved sister and brother, for Romans 15:13 reveals that our continual weapon and almighty power we have against these forces is the Holy Spirit. He moves us to see and believe in the blood of our Messiah and all His promises to us. Today, seize His words and promises, and receive revelation imparted by Father’s Holy Spirit. Cling to and trust in the promises that He will ALWAYS shepherd us and keep us as we walk through these stormy seas that surround and threaten us. Believe and rest in His joy and peace beyond any circumstance you find yourself in, and abound in the true and secure hope that all is well in the arms of Abba Father, who reigns over heaven, earth, and YOU.

Then I will rebuke the devourer for you, so that it will not destroy the fruit of your ground; nor will the vine in the field prove fruitless to you,” says the Lord of armies. “All the nations will call you blessed, for you will be a delightful land,” says the Lord of armies.” Malachi 3:11-12

As my clay vessel, which holds God’s Spirit, gets older, I face new challenges in keeping it running smoothly, with strength and vigor. This serves to propel me into the arms of my Maker and Redeemer, discovering Him in deeper ways. Recently the Holy Spirit spoke to me, “Do you believe that I raised Yeshua from the dead?” In my spirit, I quickly and emphatically responded, “Yes!” He then spoke back to me, “Then let’s go!” Beloved, the Holy Spirit was awakening and activating me! He aligned me with the truth that I carry the same Spirit that supernaturally raised Yeshua’s physical body from the dead and that it is by this, His supernatural Spirit, that I now live and move and have all my being. His Spirit equips and directs me to overcome every natural challenge that I will ever face! 

As we seek the LORD for His thoughts and truth about our lives and the world around us, He responds and corrects us. All He wants is for us to re-focus our thoughts upward upon Him and His good news of supernatural life. Precious ones, keep fighting the good fight to transform your old internal thoughts of accusation, condemnation, fear, and hopelessness into the thoughts of your Father who sees you hidden within Messiah Jesus. Agree in your self-talk and in your actions with His Spirit of righteousness, power, and unconditional love that dwells within you, and you will complete the good work that He has begun in you! 

“Therefore if you have been raised up with Christ, keep seeking the things above, where Christ is, seated at the right hand of God. Set your mind on the things above, not on the things that are on earth. For you have died and your life is hidden with Christ in God.” Colossians 3:1-3

When the man saw that he could not overpower him, he touched the socket of Jacob’s hip so that his hip was wrenched as he wrestled with the man. Then the man said, “Let me go, for it is daybreak.” But Jacob replied, “I will not let you go unless you bless me.” The man asked him, “What is your name?” “Jacob,” he answered. Then the man said, “Your name will no longer be Jacob, but Israel, because you have struggled with God and with humans and have overcome. Genesis 32:24-28” 

Although there may be a one-time event in which we received Yeshua’s love sacrifice for ourselves, that is just the beginning of our journey. With the Holy Spirit living within our hearts and souls, it seems that we have entered a wrestling match with God and man. Although we can know and understand Scriptures in our head, actualizing the Gospel is a lifetime journey. This past week I found myself wrestling out a decision of whether to receive a medical procedure. It was excruciating to say the least. Every day we are faced with decision-making that the LORD wants to be involved in so that we can see who He is, discover who we are, and in turn, accomplish His will for our lives. As I wrestle with God and man, I find Abba Father continually stripping away my paradigm of who He is, who I am, and what my life is to be. With fear and trembling, I wrestled out my medical decision-making with the LORD. In the process I faced my fears with Him. I sought to trust Him alone, and to hear Him so that my steps would be ordered by Him. My shalom finally came with the experiential revelation that He just wants me to lean all my heart into Him, and then rest in His sovereignty of goodness over my life.

Recently a man from our congregation shared that he had had a dream about Rabbi and himself. They were up high in the sky. He and Rabbi were looking down at the ground where there was a bullseye. As they were looking at the bullseye, Rabbi suddenly dove down without a parachute. He was aiming straight towards the bullseye, and with great force he landed perfectly into that bullseye. 

How about you, are you focused upon and aiming toward the bullseye, i.e., the purpose of your life?! Whatever we aim at is where we will land. As we enter a new year, it’s time to step back from all the details of everyday life in order to see and gain God’s big eternal perspective. Let’s release our own thoughts and ideas to become God’s arrow that He draws back into Himself, then points and releases, directing us straight into the bullseye of our unique and specific life’s call and purpose. By His power and directing we will hit our bullseye, but our hearts must melt into His hands and heart so we can be directed with the power and force of His Spirit straight toward His goal for our lives. In taking moments with our Majesty every day we’ll stay focused on His destiny for us. He’s told us that the first and primary goal of our lives is to love Him with all our heart and strength. That’s where we are drawn into Himself to receive His heart, Spirit and perspective that empowers us to direct all our time and efforts towards what will multiply and prosper for Him and His Kingdom. 

Let’s hit the goal, or “bullseye,” of our lives by drawing back to seek the Lover of our souls with all our heart and strength each day. Not by might nor by power, but by His Spirit we accomplish His unique call and will for our lives! 

I press on toward the goal for the prize of the upward call of God in Messiah Jesus. Philippians 3:14

For the most part I work out of my home, so when I heard the chainsaws cutting down all the woods to the left of my home, I knew my peaceful haven with the cheerful chirping birds outside my window was coming to an end. Sure enough the excavators and jack hammers came next, and I began to struggle to stay in peace. Not only was the ground underneath me shaking, but my whole being shook with irritability toward the new neighbors who decided to tear down the beautiful peaceful woods in order to build their home. Seeking to restore an inner shalom, I looked up to the One who chose me, saved me and has good plans for my life. I sought His heart and perspective. His swift reply was simple and direct, “I’m changing the landscape.” Although in the natural this seems quite apparent, His Spirit-filled words filled me with a profound shalom beyond the circumstances. “Ahh,” I expressed back to Him, “I see. You’re always shifting and changing the times and seasons of my life. You are living, moving, active, and always calling me to move with the wind of Your Spirit. Father, You are at the wheel of my life and have proven over and over that You are good regardless of any changes in the landscape of my life. I let go of what was and look forward to what YOU have next for me.” 

Beloved, as we approach Yeshua’s return, our landscapes are continually shifting and changing. Hurricanes, floods, earthquakes and wildfires remove what was, and political instabilities shake the trustworthiness of our governments, all proving that there is nothing in this world to hold onto and sink our trust in. The LORD speaks, “Trust in My faithfulness to redeem you, keep you and complete the good plans that I have for your life. What matters is your eternal relationships of love with Me and others that last forever.” 

Celebrating Yeshua’s Light and Hope with you at this season, my precious, forever brothers and sisters. XO

Look up, for it’s a new day and Yeshua is on the throne at the right hand of the Father! In Yeshua, Jesus, the Almighty God has promised (covenanted) His love and shalom (perfect peace beyond all circumstances) to you! No matter what you have done His compassion will keep reaching down to redeem you from every situation that you find yourself in. 

In Philippians 4:6-7, the LORD speaks, “Do not be anxious about anything, but in everything by prayer and pleading with thanksgiving let your requests be made known to God. And the peace of God, which surpasses all comprehension, will guard your hearts and minds in Christ Jesus.” Beloved one, He says to not only carry your burdens to Him, but to also praise and thank Him for what He is doing and will do. God Almighty is on the throne, He redeemed you and He is faithfully carrying you into eternal life. In Yeshua, the LORD has compassion on you and hears your prayers. The peace that passes understanding only comes as we transform every negative thought into words of confidence in our supernatural God who is breaking into our world. This month let’s focus on transforming our thoughts and words into confident thanksgiving. Change the words into boldly thanking Father for transforming your prayerful situations into His goodness and glory. 

Be conformed to the joy of the LORD no matter what the circumstance, for the LORD is on the throne and He is faithful and true to you through His covenant of love.

The LORD said to Moses, “Tell the Israelites to bring me an offering … Then have them make a sanctuary for me, and I will dwell among them. According to all that I am going to show you, as the pattern of the tabernacle and the pattern of all its furniture, just so you shall construct it” (Exodus 25:1,8,9). 

For me, one of the greatest hidden treasures of the Bible is found in the pattern of the Mishkan, or Tabernacle (God’s dwelling place). It is a divine blueprint for how to enter His presence. The Tabernacle teaches us the principles that must be operating in our lives if we are to experience intimacy with the LORD. The LORD told Moses in Ex. 25:8 that the purpose for this Tabernacle is so that He could dwell with us. 

In a divine dream, I saw myself at the door of the Tabernacle, passionately compelling all to hurry and go into the Tabernacle before the world outside the Tabernacle would be destroyed. Yeshua, the door into the safety of the LORD’s Mishkan, is seen throughout the pattern of the Tabernacle. As the worshipper laid his hands on the innocent animal on the Alter of Sacrifice, his sins were transferred into that innocent animal. As a result, the worshipper was free, holy, and blameless before God. 

Throughout the Mishkan, Yeshua also reigns as Priest interceding before the perfect Father. He cleanses us at the Brass Laver as we open our hearts and let His Spirit reveal what needs washed and cleansed in Father’s love. And in the Holy Place and Holy of Holies, He brings us into intimacy with our Holy God who has come to dwell with us. 

Every day grab ahold of Yeshua’s hand and apply the pattern of the Mishkan to your life. Father’s pattern will never fail in bringing you His heavenly love, order, and supernatural provision!

After watching the news and persevering through wave after wave of trials and tribulations, I found myself crying out in exasperation, “How far can this go?!” In carrying the weight of this question, with all of its fears and anxieties, to the LORD, He took me to Romans 8:38-39. “For I am convinced that neither death nor life, nor angels, nor principalities, nor things present nor in things to come, nor powers, nor height, nor depth, nor any other created thing, will be able to separate us from the love of God which is in Christ Jesus our Lord.” Through the Holy Spirit I saw that every trial and every tribulation, and every single thing of this world, could never keep me from receiving and experiencing the higher (supernatural) reality of a peace that comes from receiving and experiencing the love of God. The supernatural love of my Creator and Savior is what keeps me safe and feeds my soul with everything I need for life. For those who reject Yeshua as their Lord and Savior there is no true, saving peace through all the trials and tribulations of this world. But for those of us who receive and apply Yeshua’s blood over our lives, the Heavens of Father God open and release the answer to every problem and every question that we will ever have. Our Almighty LORD and Savior says, “In the world you have tribulation, but take courage; I have overcome the world. John 16:33b”

Oh beloved of the Father, won’t you release everything of this world today to receive and experience the Father’s love? Drink in His love, and let Him saturate your soul so that you have need of nothing else but Him. As in the Song of Songs, let Him kiss and heal you in the deepest recesses of your heart. Nothing will separate you from the love of God.

Over and over again I find myself in seemingly impossible situations. It seems that the challenges come like waves that keep hitting on an oceanside beach, one after another after another. Maybe it’s illnesses and diseases that strike, other times it’s financial threats, strained relationships, or socio-political tensions that threaten my well-being. Whatever it is, it’s apparent that in every trial there is only one way out for me: the supernatural way!

God’s way is always the supernatural way. Look at all of the Bible stories: Isaac born to a woman past childbearing age, the children of Israel delivered from the Egyptians by God’s parting the Sea, little shepherd-boy David defeating the giant warrior Goliath, Yeshua being birthed from a virgin, and the numerous times that a small band of Jews defeated mighty armies. The stories go on and on and continue in my own life. The only way of victory through obstacles and challenges is to have Father supernaturally going before us.

Beloved, Father is training us up to seek, expect and anticipate His above-the-natural way through each challenge. He’s calling us up to higher operations that give eternal victories, and He’ll prove Himself to be faithful every time.

LORD, though You may bless the natural, Your greatest, almighty plan takes place throuh the supernatural. I trust in You, my supernatural Father, and I look for you to move the mountains before me today, making the impossible become possible.

Behold I am the LORD, the God of all flesh; is anything too difficult for Me? Jeremiah 32:28

In a recent dream, my sister and I were swimming in a lake when suddenly I realized that we had gotten close to where there was a waterfall drop off. I warned my sister to keep away from the waterfall drop off, but nonetheless, she swam into a small whirlpool of water that would soon pull her down over the falls. Her head sunk under water and I went into a panic trying to get my arms to reach down and grab her and rescue her. I could not get the message to my arms to move and reach for her. Seeking her salvation from impending doom, I desperately kept repeating, “The blood of Jesus, the blood of Jesus” over and over. Suddenly my sister popped her head up out of the water, and swam to safety.

As I shared my dream with my husband he said, “It sounds like you can’t save your sister.” I saw it clearly: none of us can rescue those we love by our own strength. The power we have resides in spiritual, intercessory war faring prayer.

In desperate times, we see friends and loved ones struggling. With the gift of the Holy Spirit’s revelation, we can often see what others cannot, and yet our words and efforts to help sometimes seem to have no effect in moving mountains of troubles. Beloved, your power resides in spiritual intercession and warfare. The blood of Jesus destroys the enemies of lies, curses, disease and death, and your call for the LORD’s Spirit and Angels bring the supernatural resources that save and transform life situations. Precious ambassador for Messiah, you are not called to save, for Yeshua alone is Savior, but know that through your spirit-filled cries and prayers you are moving the Father to work on earth. Rest in Father’s good plan being fulfilled through His supernatural power.

Dogs have a special, endearing affect on me. I love their eyes that look up at me with innocence and unconditional love. Even when I wake up looking unkempt in the morning, they will still love me and seek my love. They look to me to care for and lead them.

Recently, I had a restless night with numerous thoughts and concerns running through my mind. Suddenly the LORD imparted to me a vision of myself as a precious beloved puppy dog. I was sitting with my energetic tail wagging behind me looking up at the LORD, my Father. With my gaze locked upon my Beloved, trustworthy Master, He said to me, “Sit, stay.” In this vision, my energy was harnessed, and my gaze locked upon my Master to receive His love, forgiveness, and almighty care. I let go of all distracting thoughts, and I felt loved, cared for, and peaceful.

The LORD knows our fleshly impulses and the temptations that constantly surround us. He knows the concerns and fears that bombard our minds. He knows that without His discipline we are like a puppy dog that runs wildly without a trainer. In love and compassion Father repeatedly calls us to attention, “Sit, stay.” Beloved, with discipline, refocus upon your Master. Receive His love, forgiveness and direction, and be obedient.

“The steadfast of mind You will keep in perfect peace,
because he trusts in You.” Isaiah 26:3

“Because he loves me,” says the Lord, “I will rescue him; I will protect him, for he acknowledges my name. He will call on me, and I will answer him, I will be with him in trouble, I will deliver him and honor him. With long life I will satisfy him and show him my salvation.” Psalm 91:14-16

In anticipation of Resurrection Sunday, my 3 year old granddaughter said to me, “Mimi! God’s going to die soon!” She had learned about Yeshua’s crucifixion, but she had not yet grasped that this had already taken place. In hopes of helping her understand, I said, “You know how we celebrate your birthday every year? Although you were born as a baby a long time ago we are so happy about you coming into our lives that we keep celebrating you every year on your birthday. It’s the same as what we do for ‘Resurrection Sunday’ – every year we celebrate that Jesus died for us and then came back alive and lives forever with us!”

What a great gift God has given us when He instructed us (Deuteronomy 16:1, 9-10, 13, 16-17) to annually celebrate the holy days (holidays). As I watch how excited my granddaughter is when she anticipates and celebrates birthdays and holidays, I know that this is how the LORD wants us, as His children, to experience His holidays with Him. Sometimes we too, like my granddaughter, need Father God to correct our view and understanding of His Holy days. God’s laws and commandments have often been misconstrued as demands from an angry taskmaster, but the reality is that God cares for us so deeply that He continually releases to us great ways of finding life in a world that operates apart from Him with a trajectory of death. His laws and Holy days bless us, keep us and glorify God!

This month ask Father God to release new revelation about His Holy day of Shavuot (Pentecost) and what it means for you. Discover that in Messiah Yeshua you live not under the law, but rather are blessed by its spiritual applications that guide and direct your steps. Father’s love streams down to you today as you receive the same revelatory Holy Spirit that was breathed into the first Disciples and Church in the upper room on Pentecost!

Recently I watched an old tv sitcom which climaxed with the main character’s discovery of the “true” meaning of life. After mentally struggling through the complexities of love, relationships and what life is all about, he claimed that his conclusion is that the altruistic goal of life is to be happy, be nice to others and find romantic love. Doesn’t that sound like most Americans’ delusional beliefs today? This pursuit keeps us frustrated, self-centered, and unfulfilled. The media has a way of conforming us more into Satan’s image. Vain pursuits conform us into a lost and tormented soul who fruitlessly seeks to find life and love apart from the Creator, who is the essence of life and love.

Our Creator knows how He created us, who we are and what our purpose is. The deepest meanings of life are all discovered in searching out our Creator through the ancient, yet current, words of Scripture. With God’s Spirit, His love and our submission to His Words of truth, we discover that love is the answer, but true love is only discovered through intimately knowing our Creator. This true love leads to our deeper, eternal happiness. This true love loves God, loves oneself and loves others unconditionally.

Let’s look up to God and through the forgiveness found in Yeshua’s sacrificial love poured out at the cross, receive a river of Father’s true love. Let this love flow into your heart, through you, and then back to your Creator and out to others. Let’s live in true love.

Many are saying, “Now what, LORD?! What’s next??” We hear numerous claims of prophetic words for 2022, and the more that a word provokes emotional reactions and YouTube hits the greater regard people seem to give to the word.

Great is the lure of knowing more, but the story of Adam and Eve reveals what happens when we pursue knowing more over dwelling in the Presence of God. Adam and Eve took action to know more, thinking that their lives would be better off. And so today, the lure of knowing more has us continually grabbing our devices, thinking that the information discovered through them will reveal something life-giving. But reaching out to know more readily leads us into deceptions and separation from God’s love.

In this new year, amidst new crises, personal struggles and tribulations, there is only one thing we need to know: who our Creator is and what our relationship to Him is. Beloved, keep pressing in and crying out for the Spirit of the LORD to reveal Himself. Stop thinking; TRUST. Psalm 91:1-2 is your forever word from the LORD: He who dwells in the shelter of the Most High will abide in the shadow of the Almighty. I will say to the LORD, “My refuge and my fortress, my God in whom I trust!”

Have you ever found yourself so preoccupied with such heavy, distressing thoughts that when you walked in the woods or were surrounded by children playing you missed the moments of joy that surrounded you? Are there people reaching out to you with actions of love, but your negative thoughts are preventing you from seeing and receiving the love? Are there nights that you miss a peaceful sleep due to fearful, anxious thoughts? It’s time we ruthlessly pursue seeing and experiencing the goodness of God in the land of the living (Psalms 27:13).

During this season of remembrance, let’s declare war on Satan’s fearful, anxious thoughts that steal our joy. Yeshua pierced through our dark world to bring us supernatural hope, salvation and light! I, for one, have missed too many precious, joyful moments because of anxious, fearing thoughts. Let’s seize moments throughout our day to say, “This is the day and the moment that the LORD has made and He has filled me with life in this moment! I rejoice knowing that Yeshua remains on the Holy throne and surrounds me with the beauty of His creation. He’s given me Himself to receive forgiveness and love from. He’s given me people to forgive, love and live life with.” By the blood of the Lamb, we let go of deceiving, prideful, fearful, and anxious thoughts to awaken to each moment of life that we have been granted. Let’s seize with joy and thanksgiving what’s here now but gone a second later. We must not keep missing the moments of joy Father’s giving us in the land of the living.

In Jesus’ Name I reject seeing tormenting perspectives and I worship You, the One who reigns over my small world of woes. My beautiful and awesome Savior, You sit on the Throne and surround and fill me. I breathe in, open my arms and open my eyes, ears, and heart to experience and embrace YOU here and now. I embrace Your goodness in the land of the living!

Many fall to your right and left, but Yeshua calls you to keep focused on His truth that is good, pure and keeps you in times of trouble. Being kept in the Name of the LORD means that who you are and where you are going will never change. Hidden in the Name of the LORD, you are God’s child who is never separated from your Father’s love and loving care. So arise today with bold confidence knowing that God is causing all things to work together for good.

During this month let’s focus on declaring thanksgiving to God for the sanctifying truths of who we are and where we are going. Not of this world, we are about our Father’s business – the eternal Kingdom work of love, forgiveness, truth and shalom!

Thank You, Father, for keeping me hidden in the shelter of Your Name. Thank You for predestining me to become conformed to Your Son’s image. In Yeshua I am pure, holy and righteous. Even if others are unable to receive Your truth, Father, I will walk boldly in the freedom of love and forgiveness so that I shine Your light into the world.

“My eyes are continually toward the Lord,
For He will rescue my feet from the net.
Turn to me and be gracious to me,
For I am lonely and afflicted.
The troubles of my heart are enlarged;
Bring me out of my distresses” (Psalm 25:15-17).

In opposition to the great Lover of our souls, the ruler of this world hates and hates relationship. It’s time to wake up to the real raging war: we are wrestling not against our own flesh, nor others, but against spirits and principalities that seek to prevent us from feeling the shalom (peace) that comes from being connected to God and others.

So what can we do when we feel paralyzed by our earthly experience of loneliness (even when we may cognitively know that we are not alone nor unloved)? Beloved, keep crying out, like the Psalmist, to God. Yeshua’s blood has paved the way for Father God to hear us. Cry out and allow His Holy Spirit to shine, like a flashlight, upon your soul to reveal the roots of how Satan came in to lie, steal and destroy. In your new man, you can face brokenness while holding the hand of your perfect, unconditionally loving Father God. Rebuke Satan to face every ugly thought, memory or behavior pattern while clinging to your Savior who loves your soul. Take time to let the Holy Spirit reveal God’s loving truth that transforms ugly pain into His opposing beauty.

Today, we’re breaking agreement with the lies of Satan and we cease clinging to the darkness. Let’s let go to trust in our loving Father who leads us out of dark, negative thoughts into the true, life-giving mind of Christ. It’s settled in Heaven and now, in Jesus’ Name, may it be settled on earth and in our heart and soul: God does love me – God is with me – I am never alone.

Our minds are constantly bombarded with stimuli that cause distraction from an upward focus upon our Creator and an intimate relationship with Him. Although we may know that peace and shalom come from resting in the LORD, stimuli from our environment frequently trigger inward thoughts of fear, anxiety, panic, shame, condemnation, rejection, loneliness, depression and oppression. We continually require fresh manna (food) from heaven to break the tension and oppression that seeks to devour our souls. Take time today to breathe in the Holy Spirit and slowly meditate upon the words of this prayer to renew your mind.

I am Your child. I am Your bride. Everything that’s Yours is mine. I have permission to rest and DEPEND upon my strong secure Father and Husband. This is who You are. You go before me to prepare a place for me and You carry me across dangerous territories. Resting in Your arms, trusting You and living in Your love is my work. Following and dwelling in an ascended Spirit, the Holy Spirit, is my way, truth and life. Fear, worry & lack are under my feet as I dwell in You, trust in You, love You & live in You. I put You before me, and trust that You are around me on every side, attending to every detail of my life. What I hear & see is passing away, but YOU, O LORD, transcend it all and transform my life into love, beauty, power and unending life.

Recently the Spirit of the Lord awakened me from a deep sleep saying, “It’s all mine. Everything is mine.” With His words He was speaking peace and telling me to let go of EVERYTHING and EVERYONE. We easily become deeply entangled in trying to control and hold onto people, circumstances and commodities, thinking that somehow this will bring us peace. But our Father is speaking a different word to our souls. Striving to control our environment results in coveting and spinning our wheels into a deeper rut of pain and struggle. The truth to be seized in our hearts today is that everything is the LORD’s and we need not feel the heavy burden of securing or protecting anything nor anyone. Right now, take a deep breath of the Holy Spirit, and exhale all of your burdens into Yeshua. Leave ALL concerns there at the foot of the cross for Him to take and transform into His beauty and goodness. Father is calling you and I to release the fears of losing control and losing anything or any person. For in truth all are His and not ours. From Him, through Him and to Him are all things (Romans 11:36).

May our Father carry all of your burdens today, and may He, your Comforter, comfort you and lift you up in His Spirit above all circumstances. May His Angels go before you, and His Spirit move the mountains for His will to be done. He is faithful to complete His good plan in your life, your loved ones’ lives, and even His ministry through your life. It’s His burden to carry today, not yours. So shalom shalom, Father’s perfect peace beyond all circumstances be upon you.

In 1977, I studied abroad in a Third World community, experiencing their language, culture, and very simple lifestyle. Upon return to the United States, my parents picked me up from the airport in their Oldsmobile. The music playing through their car stereo system sounded amazing, with its bass, treble and woofer speakers. As I looked out the window on the drive home I was struck by the order of streets and traffic as well as the wealth and conveniences that Americans so churlishly took for granted. I was experiencing culture shock. After experiencing stark contrasts of life, in terms of civil order and modern conveniences, I gained a deep appreciation for the great blessings of our country that others took for granted.

As in this situation, the LORD often exposes us to sharp contrasts throughout our life’s journey to strike us with deep emotional highs and lows that expand our horizons. The beautiful drama of your life, beloved, is discovered through these lows that contrast the highs. Indeed, every valley of pain, sorrow, and loss, when wrestled out with the LORD and then submitted and released into Jesus, will bring forth a resurrection by the Holy Spirit into new heights and depths of spiritual revelation.

Thank You, LORD, that in Yeshua the drama of my life serves to birth me into the awesome wonder of Your love, truth, peace, joy, and life. May I see every loss as a gain in you, O LORD.

Beloved, do not be surprised at the fiery ordeal among you, which comes upon you for your testing, as though something strange were happening to you; 13 but to the degree that you share the sufferings of Christ, keep on rejoicing, so that at the revelation of His glory you may also rejoice and be overjoyed. When I was a little girl, my father had a rare moment of joy and loving interaction with me. Smiling, he took my hand and began to show me a few basic ballroom dance steps. What a joy this was to a little girl who was hungry for her father’s lead and for his tender loving care. Recently, in the midst of a trial with a family member in the hospital, the Spirit of Father God suddenly seemed to reach out His hand, grasp my hand and waltz me around the hospital room. With my spirit submitted and relinquished to the Beloved lover of my soul, I felt Him say, “Dance and sway with me through every valley, hill and mountain. Relinquished in trust to My hand, let Me lead you. Come with My love moving you through the events of your life. As My Spirit sways you back and forth, sideways, downward and upward, move with My steps. Know that I am in the details of your life, transforming all into My beautiful story and glory. In love and with trust, let Me waltz you through your life.”

We desperately need the LORD, and the Beloved lover of our soul desires us. Let’s let go of fearing and striving to instead trust and sense His loving hand leading and swaying us through our story. Experience the almighty, faithful and true One who’s waltzing you to the end.

Just as olives and grapes are pressed for their oil and juice to be released, so too was my earthly, clay vessel pressed in the year of 2020 for the release of my book, From Passover to Pentecost. It’s my continued prayer that when you read its words you will be anointed with Father’s intimate Spirit that breathes new life and strength into you. When I began putting this book together, in 2020, as a love gift to you who have sacrificed and sown into Discovering The Jewish Jesus, the physical pressing began upon my body. I experienced one affliction after another, and the enemy threw one bad report after another at me. As I pressed into the LORD during these confusing and challenging times it became experientially clear to me that the Lord desires my entire being to be captivated by His Being. In God’s pressing room, the flesh and strength of this world dies. Only in experiencing my weakness could His strength be released and perfected within me.

The two words that the LORD gave me at the start of 2020 were, “No more business as usual,” and “the only way to survive and soar above the heavy winds sent against us is to keep my gaze upward upon my beloved Messiah Jesus.” Through shifting my gaze away from the waves and winds to look up and blindly cling to my beloved Messiah and Father, I let go of the concerns of this world to see Yeshua full of holiness, righteousness and eternal life. Right now, take a deep breath in to receive the Holy Spirit, and deeply exhale every concern you have to Jesus at the Cross. As you raise your hands and look up to see Jesus next to the Father, inhale and receive His Spirit. In your mind’s eye, see and receive His gift of holiness, righteousness and eternal life flowing into your soul. Be captivated by God’s glory.

“Therefore if you have been raised up with Christ, keep seeking the things above, where Christ is, seated at the right hand of God. Set your mind on the things above, not on the things that are on earth. For you have died and your life is hidden with Christ in God. When Christ, who is our life, is revealed, then you also will be revealed with Him in glory.” Colossians 3:1-4

Beloved, the book you are receiving today, From Passover to Pentecost, was truly a labor of love with many battles to its completion. I urge you to sacrificially take time to invite the Holy Spirit to speak to you as you read one devotional a day, between Passover to Pentecost. By humbling yourself before His Word and His Spirit, you will be taking, drinking and eating of His Spirit life. Passover and Pentecost are two of the three pilgrim Feasts that were designated by HaShem (Deuteronomy 16:16) for all of Israel to come to Jerusalem and present a special offering to God. As we begin to count down the days to Pentecost, won’t you take the challenge to read one devotion a day, presenting yourself as an offering to God for deep, personal transformation and revival.

Even as Israel was delivered by the blood of the Passover lamb over 3500 years ago, today the blood of Yesua is alive, the blood of the Lamb of God is active, bringing salvation and deliverance from darkness and sin to everyone that calls upon Jesus giving their lives to Him. Passover is for us today. Yeshua’s last supper with His disciples was a Passover meal (see Matthew 26:17-29). Luke records, “And when He had taken some bread and given thanks, He broke it and gave it to them, saying, “This is My body which is given for you; do this in remembrance of Me. And in the same way He took the cup after they had eaten, saying, “This cup which is poured out for you is the new covenant in My blood” (Luke 22: 19, 20). It was the blood of the lamb that rescued ancient Israel, and it is the blood of the Lamb, Jesus the Messiah, that redeems us today. Jesus is the true and irrefutable Lamb of God. But it was not enough for Israel just to gather the blood of the ancient lambs in basins in order to be saved by it. Instead, they had to personally apply it to the individual doorposts of their homes. Likewise, it is not enough to know that Yeshua shed His blood and died for our salvation. We must personally receive Him into our lives. Let’s daily present ourselves to the LORD, laying down the concerns of this world to look up and seek fresh manna from the Holy Spirit.

During this season, we have found, over the years, that many feel inspired to present to Father a Special Passover offering, just like God’s people historically did when they made pilgrimage to Jerusalem. The parables of the mustard seed and sower are just a few of the 37 parables found in the gospels of Matthew, Mark and Luke. Why would Yeshua so often speak in parables? One reason Yeshua used parables was for the powerful, personalized visual imagery that they created for His followers. They released impactful, memorable messages with deep meanings that could change His disciples thinking and behaviors.

Even today, our LORD is speaking through visual imagery. If we are not open to seeing and receiving His imagery, we will miss His communication to us. At night He calls us to pay attention to the images in our dreams in order to discover truths and concepts we’ll need to understand for walking by His direction throughout the day. Dreams frequently reveal spiritual realities that we are unknowingly wrestling with. His imagery calls us to discern evil from good, and then take authority over the evil and declare Father’s words and truths over our selves and others.

Father daily beckons us to open our hearts and minds for experiencing His imagery. Perhaps it’s raining and He calls you to imagine the rain as His Spirit cleansing your heart and mind, and pouring fresh love and healing into your heart. I remember my dear elderly friend who would look out the window in the dead of winter and with the Holy Spirit she’d see the trees’ leafless branches reaching up toward heaven in the shape of “Y”s. She’d cry, “Look! They’re all worshipping Yahweh!” God is speaking in our midst, so don’t miss Him today … look, listen and commune!

As I grew in stature, it became clear to me that anything or anyone that I leaned into for comfort would eventually fail me. This occurred with my first romantic heartbreak, and then again as I realized that my parents had insecurities and brokenness that had impacted my life. Recently, I awoke with a startling vision of my face that appeared as an “ugh” emoji face (type “Ugh” as a text, and you will see the desperate emoji face pop up!). And in my right hand was a plug with a cord that connected to my soul. I knew the LORD was speaking to me. When what our heart and soul depended upon for security, comfort and identity is removed we are left desperate for a source of life. We were created to “plug into” the faithful Spirit of our Creator.

Throughout our day, we must ask ourselves, “what am I plugged into?” Am I plugging into others, or seeking comfort foods and drinks that would pacify the internal dull ache of my soul? Am I plugging and unplugging myself from one distraction to the next – from one technology or social media distraction to another? In your mind’s eye, unplug from the faulty energy of this world. Humbly reach for and tap into the power of eternal life through our almighty, righteous Yeshua, Who sits at the right hand of our Father. Commune with Him Who lives within your soul, for He will keep you in perfect peace.

For “you were like sheep going astray,” but now you have returned to the Shepherd and Overseer of your souls. I Peter 2:25 (NIV)

As we face the closing of the tumultuous year of 2020, none of us are left the same. No matter what disaster hits, and no matter how imperfect governments and leaders may be, the LORD says, “I am the LORD, and there is no other; besides Me there is no God. I will gird you, though you have not known Me; that men may know from the rising to the setting of the sun that there is no one besides Me. I am the LORD, and there is no other.” Isaiah 45:5-6

The LORD is in every detail of life. He knows your battles and struggles. Take comfort in knowing that He knew it would be this way, and thus He sent provisions. Yeshua is your Sacrifice that secured your life eternal with our loving Father. The Holy Spirit dwells within you to speak the Father’s love, peace, and presence. The Church body (though imperfect) confirms and witnesses of the Truth. With each day your faithful Father will provide you with what you need to complete His call upon you for that day. Though the Liar lurks about you to tell you otherwise, each day you complete is another victory for Yeshua who reigns within you.

Behold, your Redeemer is coming and He calls, “Come up in My Spirit. As you climb the mountains clinging to Me every battle is already beneath your feet, for you are leaping on the hills with Me. I will never leave you nor forsake you, and I am coming soon.”

In an instant we find life change from how we thought or knew it to be. With the outbreak of COVID19, smiles are now hidden behind masks, hugs and handshakes are prohibited, and quarantine has isolated so many who already battle loneliness. Even beyond the ill effects of COVID19, the political and social events of 2020 have devastated our sense of safety. But be not alarmed, for the Author and Finisher of our faith told us it would be this way and is going before us (Matt. 24, John 16:33).

When tragic events of life happen, or when pain and impending doom overwhelm us, all old, autopilot, default modes of thinking, coping and living cease. Almighty God wants to change everything for the sake of His eternal life and righteousness to be realized in His people. In clinging to the LORD through high winds and deep storms we’ll experience His eternal Spirit beyond the temporal, physical realm. Like Jacob who wrestled with God (Gen 32:24-32), we win, but we are never the same again, for we have encountered the almighty God and victory in Him. We walk out of battles limping like Jacob, but with new peace and strength – leaning our entire being on our beloved Savior.

Beloved warrior of the King, during this season lean upon your faithful, beloved Savior, and with thanksgiving remember, “The LORD is the one who goes ahead of you; He will be with you. He will not fail you or forsake you. Do not fear or be dismayed.” Deuteronomy 31:8

The Spirit and the bride say, “Come!” And let the one who hears say, “Come!” Let the one who is thirsty come; and let the one who wishes take the free gift of the water of life.
—Revelation 22:17, NIV

The Father is calling forth from us what we don’t feel we possess. He stretches us beyond our natural abilities and gifts, bringing us to the end of ourselves so we become so desperate for Him that we cry, “Come, Spirit! Come, Yeshua! Come, River of Life! Flow from Your throne into my heart and soul.”

When the cry of our heart is, “Come, Lord; not my will but Yours,” Father takes our hands and leads us into places we have never walked before. With the eyes of our heart looking upward to Him, He reveals Himself as our good, mighty, and trustworthy Daddy, who loves us, equips us, and wants us to succeed.

With a wooing love, the Spirit says to us, “Come,” that we would follow Him. He leads us to hidden resources, hidden wells, and hidden rivers that flow with life-giving waters. To follow His call and discover His hidden treasures we must desire nothing of our self or of this world, but seek all of Him. Through trials and tribulations our salvation in Him is worked out, and at times we will feel beaten with nothing remaining of our old self. Cooperating with His process, we let go of the old self and cry, “Come, Lord Jesus.” Our Bridegroom faithfully responds by filling the depths of our soul, to make us and mold us as He wills.

Precious one of the Lord, abandon your self to the Lover of your soul. Surrender your entire being to Him. In love and desperation, the Spirit and the Bride cry, “Come,” to each other. Cry, “Come,” and let King Jesus arise within you with His ardent love. Receive new living water in the desert places you traverse.

As pressures mount and the load feels too heavy to carry, we need a place to unload the weights that our fragile vessels cannot bear. Which direction do you look to when feeling heavy with an emotional weight that’s too painful to carry? What and where do you find your escape and solace? Generally, we look to something or someone tangible and we take action toward who or whatever this may be. It may be a relationship, TV, Smartphone, sex, compulsive eating, or drinking alcohol.

Sometimes blaming and yelling at a person, with all your emotional pain, releases pressure from yourself onto this other fragile, imperfect soul. Riots result from masses of people who carry built up, pent up emotional pain. A single event can trigger the unleashing of massive, multifaceted frustrations in destructive ways. Sometimes our work or exercise becomes an escape, and we spend excessive amounts of time in these areas of our lives. Recently, through a dream, the Holy Spirit revealed another way we find escape. In the dream a military man had just returned from the battlefront of war. Overwhelmed with weighty emotions, he went into a bar and found another person who was experiencing deep emotional pain and hopelessness. Drinking his beer, with laughter and lightheartedness, he declared to his newfound “friend”, “let’s just drown in our sorrows together!” This man found comfort in companionship with someone else who felt his own feelings of emotional pain and hopelessness. But unfortunately taking comfort by sharing in negative emotions is merely temporary, fleeting and never life-giving.

Beloved, Jesus is a man who knew the depth of human sorrows. His desire is for the heavy-laden soul to find true companionship in Himself who has experienced the depth of emotional and physical pain. The difference between Him and others who sympathize with our pain is that He overcame such deep sorrow. In love He carries sorrow to the grave, destroying its power against us. He says, “Know that I have shared in your pain and sorrows. Taste of My victory over all these sorrows. Take from My heavenly Spirit of joy unlimited, for I have overcome your sorrows. Find true companionship in Me, this is why I came. I came to experience, carry and defeat the weight of sin and darkness. Let Me carry you out and into the light.”

Beloved, turn away from your default actions and seeking solace from the natural world. Run to find healing comfort through companionship with the Man of sorrows. Seek Him who loves you deeply and has your way out of sorrow into everlasting joy.

Pray, then, in this way: “Our Father who is in heaven, Hallowed be Your name.” Matthew 6:9

We address God as our Father, but do we truly know God as Father? Knowing God as “Father” involves an intimate relationship of child-like love and trust. So on a scale of 1-10, how well do you know God as “Father”? Recently, the Holy Spirit revealed that images of my imperfect earthly father were hindering knowing my Heavenly Father. He penetrated my heart with these words of Himself as my Father:

I embody the extreme of all human emotions, not like your father –
Passionate, pure love, not like your father.
Passionate compassion, not like your father.
Passionate mercy, not like your father.
Passionate joy, not like your father.
Passionate humor and laughter, not like your father.
Passionate, deep empathy, not like your father.
Passionate jealousy for you and all I love, not like your father.
Passionate anger and fury against evil and our enemies, not like your father.
Passionate demonstration of righteous power and authority over all, not like your father.
Passionate forgiveness, not like your father.
I am the sacrificial, passionate Lover of your soul, not like your father nor any other man. I am your Father, and you are Mine.

Oh, LORD, may Your passionate love and righteousness fill me and overwhelm me. May I live a life of passion to love what You love and hate what You hate. I love (passionately), because You first loved me. – 1 John 4:19

Seeking the LORD in recent desperate times, I was drawn back into taking daily Communion, using a sip of grape juice and a bite of broken bread each morning. During my communion time, I felt the LORD saying to me:

Take time every day, multiple times throughout the day to drink My Spirit and eat My Word. My Spirit is like clear, invisible water. Look for, see, feel and sense My Spirit for I am constantly in and around you. Just as water is in the air that you breathe, so breathe in My Spirit with each inspiration that you take. As you look upon your body and others’ bodies, become aware that they are made up of 55-65% water. So too, it is that spirit dwells within the body, even when not seen with the mortal eye. In fact, the whole earth is made up of 71% water, which represents My Spirit throughout all of Creation. Look to see Me, My goodness, and My Life in and around you each moment of every day. I am seen through My Creation and speaking to you. I am moving in the winds, the storms and seasons of your life. Look for Me, talk to Me and hear Me revealing Myself to you through what you see and experience. Drink My Spirit into your mind, your heart, your soul, and your entire being. THIS is Holy Fellowship with Me.

“It is the Spirit who gives life; the flesh profits nothing; the words that I have spoken to you are spirit and are life.” John 6:63

Eat My Spirit Words to you throughout each day. Read and meditate upon My written Word for receiving My Spirit revelation. Receive It, like food, into your body, mind and soul. Taste It in your senses. Digest My Spirit Word, for It strengthens and brings you new energy and life. Just as you require fresh food each day, so you need My Spirit-filled Words throughout each day to strengthen you. Yesterday’s Bread will not hold you through today. Look up for My fresh, new Bread to be eaten and digested today. This will keep you strong in Spirit, mind and body. THIS is Holy Fellowship: take, eat and drink ALL of Me throughout the day, and even in the night.

Do not let the enemy torment you with negative thoughts and negative vain imaginations about the future. Rebuke his torturous lies and curses off of your life. You were created in love to shine, so arise to bless your life with thoughts and words that oppose his negative reports, accusations and prophecies of doom. Satan will unceasingly infiltrate our minds with his bad reports about ourselves and about the unknown details of our future. But God, our Creator, knows all the details of our life – past, present and future, for He is Adon Olam, Master of the universe. He is the One at the wheel with the master plan and master blueprint for our lives. He loves His children with deep, perfect unconditional loving care. Although He does uncomfortably stretch us to conform us into His beautiful, glorious image, He also supernaturally provides everything needed to transform our broken, imperfect existence into a life of joy in Him. Your loving Father will never leave you nor forsake you, and He is faithful and true to carry the load that you give Him. Today, now, give Him your load. Will you release all negative deeds, thoughts and inner oppressions into Jesus? In thought and spoken words rebuke the torturous negative lies, thoughts and curses today, through the Blood of the Lamb, Yeshua. Bless yourself – bless your body, bless your situation, bless your endeavors, bless your loved ones, and pray for those who oppose you. Retrain your brain with positive thoughts and confessions which express trust in the plan Adon Olam has for your life, and transform your world into spiritual blessings beyond measure.

Beloved one, I hear the LORD crying out, “It’s time to run counter-culture, as Yeshua did when He walked upon this earth!” With the faith given to Him from Father’s Spirit of love and truth, Jesus righteously upturned the tables of the money-changers in the temple, and healed the withered hand of a man on the Sabbath, defying the man-made laws of His day. Passover, the most-celebrated Jewish holiday, recalls the story of the Jewish people’s faith to follow God’s instructions for deliverance, even when it was counter-culture. The Egyptian culture had denied the Jewish people opportunity to worship their God and reduced their lifestyle to that of servitude to the Egyptians for hundreds of years. Because Moses was sensitive to the voice of the LORD – “by faith … he refused to be called the son of Pharaoh’s daughter, choosing rather to endure ill-treatment with the people of God than to enjoy the passing pleasures of sin, considering the reproach of Christ greater riches than the treasures of Egypt; for he was looking to the reward. By faith he left Egypt, not fearing the wrath of the king; for he endured, as seeing Him who is unseen. By faith he kept the Passover and the sprinkling of the blood, so that he who destroyed the firstborn would not touch them. By faith they passed through the Red Sea as though they were passing through dry land; and the Egyptians, when they attempted it, were drowned.” Hebrews 11:24-29

Arise and begin your counter-culture faith walk in the LORD this year by celebrating the LORD’s holidays as He originally intended for us, and not as our culture does. A holiday stirs up hope for relaxation, relationships, and restoration of the body and soul. Indeed, the word holiday comes from the words “holy day,” which is a day set apart from our usual workday for the purpose of resting in the LORD and cultivating our relationship with our Creator through the remembrance of His faithfulness. But holidays have lost their original meaning, and they are no longer “holy days.” We have exchanged the pursuit of God for pursuing fleshly desires and living apart from our Creator. How many times have we heard, “wow, I need a vacation to recover from my holiday!” After returning to work from the weekend Sabbath holiday or from any other holiday, God desires His beloved ones to feel restored and filled by Him. Our culture lauds knowledge, technology, and enlightenment apart from living in relationship with the Creator, and it is resulting in sky-rocketing numbers of diseases and death related to stress and depression. Today is the day to declare war on satan’s culture that lives apart from relationship with God by going counter-culture and choosing to celebrate Passover and God’s Appointed Days as days to rest in the LORD and cultivate relationship with Father God through remembrance of His faithfulness. With faith and spiritual vision, make your holidays, Holy Days of the LORD through the rejection of work and technology on these holy days, and by keeping a single-minded focus upon receiving His truth, Word and love which restores your body and soul!

The Spirit of God imparts gifts, knowledge, wisdom, revelation and passions that drive you to your destiny and equip you to complete your purpose in life. There is no other copy of you in the world and no one else can be the unique gift to the LORD and this world that you are. You have been created with a unique character and personality, with strengths and weaknesses. Even your weaknesses, when given to Yeshua, are transformed into God’s strength and glory. Every person and situation, when released into God’s hands, is used to conform you into the image of His perfect Son. Your life is a process of becoming perfect in Yeshua for His divine purposes. You are nothing more and nothing less than who God created you to be, even in the process of becoming perfected in Yeshua, and THIS is beautiful to your Maker and Redeemer. Beloved, embrace yourself today as Father embraces you – perfect and complete in His Son. My heart yearns to experience Heaven on earth. I want no more evil, no more pain, and no more tears. But presently we exist in clay, mortal vessels that experience a war zone on earth! Here on earth, we live in separation from the perfection of our Holy Creator. But the good news is that with His Spirit received into our fragile, imperfect clay vessels, beloved, we taste of Heaven and bring Heaven onto earth!

Yeshua says, “Come follow me.” Yeshua’s way is the way of the Cross that leads to Father’s resurrection love, life, and light released onto earth. There is no experience of Glory without a Cross. The good news is that Father equips you for all of your afflictions. Recently the LORD released the word, “FORTITUDE,” into me. I felt His power in this word. Fortitude means courage and strength in adversity. In applying Yeshua’s sacrificed Blood against the darkness that oppresses us and in receiving His Spirit revelation, beloved, we overcome. Fortitude is experienced when we yoke with Yeshua and all of His resources against every challenge we face. Yeshua and His Disciples did not face every challenge in their lives by summoning up their fleshly strength, but rather, by summoning the Word and Spirit of the LORD along with all of Father’s Angels. All that is Yeshua’s is ours. Through applying Yeshua’s Blood, along with Father’s massive love, Word and Spirit, you cannot lose any battle. Righteous ones, your afflictions in this earthly battlefield are many, but be not afraid. Father’s Word and Presence faithfully delivers you into the depths of Father’s victorious Love and Life!

Our ability to survive and function well in life depends upon our sight. As we move into this year of 2020, our ability for survival and life depends upon our heightened spiritual vision. Visual acuity requires light shining upon the cornea and lens, which is then accurately focused into the retina, with sensitive nerves, and a brain that accurately interprets the information received from the eyes. Beloved of Messiah, with heightening lawlessness, nations rising against nations, and other signs of perilous times in which people lose all spiritual vision and fall into fear, self-centeredness, sexual abominations, violence, chaos and hopelessness, we must have God’s 20/20 spiritual vision to survive. In 2020, we must focus the Light of the Holy Spirit upon our hearts with sensitivity to His Spirit, and accurately interpret all information received with the Word of God. Wake up every morning and, with intention and dedication, open up your spiritual eyes to let His Light in. See as God sees, in the spiritual realm, that you would have hope in our Savior, Who is still saving you every moment of every hour and every day. Yeshua is not a one-time Savior, so open your spiritual eyes to see that He is your Savior over and over and over again in this year of 2020. Let Him shine His light and ways on your heart to redeem you and give you new hope. Every morning use your mind that has been renewed by the Word of God to interpret all that you see and hear, and share this Light with others; for TRULY, Yeshua IS the Savior, and He is saving every moment of every hour of every day!

Every day we feel the gravitational pull downward, not only physically, but also spiritually. Although the physical downward pull of gravity is necessary to live on this earth, we continually have to fight against the gravitational pull to look up, stand erect and walk. Physical exercise makes us strong in resisting the gravitational pull. Likewise, Beloved, every day you and I must exercise spiritually in order to overcome the heavy downward pull that we feel within ourselves that comes from this world of darkness and chaos. Each day, in order to stand erect in hope, peace and joy, we must receive into our heart and soul the Light of God’s Chesed (unconditional, sacrificial, unending love) that breaks in from above. Just as the sun that beams down every day to give us life, so Father’s Love beams down to destroy darkness, give us spiritual sight, and feed us with His strengthening Truth. As we celebrate Hanukkah or Christmas this month, let us resist the dark downward pull of negative thoughts and receive Yeshua’s supernatural Light that has broken into our world to overcome the darkness. When you awaken in the morning and defy gravity by lifting up your head and body, let this trigger your response to defy the pull of dark thoughts. Spiritually exercise by looking and reaching up to say, “Cleanse my heart, mind and soul by Your Spirit, LORD. Thank You for Your Chesed love, Father, and lead me, as a caring Shepherd. I am not alone and I fear not, for You are with me and before me in every step.”

As we head into more headwinds of the End Times, none of us escape the negativity that seeks to entangle us and defeat us with thoughts and words of doom and destruction. Fear grips each of us every day. But outside of a freeing, righteous fear of God, fear is not of the LORD. How can we fear not, when continually faced with threats of illness, death, and losing positive relationships with loved ones, friends, and coworkers?!  The LORD says, “Thanksgiving!” Wow, what a crazy thought in the face of threats to our wellbeing on every side! But I challenge you during this month of November, while we celebrate Thanksgiving in the USA, to retrain your brain to look for all the sights, sounds and stimuli around you that reveal the positive, life-giving hand of God. Yes, it does not matter what your circumstance is, the beautiful, life-giving God of creation is surrounding you every moment. Look, listen and thank Him. “Thank You, LORD, that I am still alive to complete Your plan for my life. Thank You, Father, for sending Jesus and Your Holy Spirit, that I know I am not alone. Thank You for the warming sun and the cleansing rains.” As we look to see and discover the Face of God and His goodness that is occurring every moment all around us, we will discover endless blessings and the trajectory of our lives will supernaturally be transformed into hope, life, and joy. Thinking and speaking positive words about our selves and others has power and effect to change negative into positive. This month re-train the brain with repetitive words of thanksgiving and watch your world supernaturally transform from fear into Shalom, the peace that passes all understanding.

“Be anxious for nothing, but in everything by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made known to God. And the peace of God, which surpasses all comprehension, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus. Finally, brethren, whatever is true, whatever is honorable, whatever is right, whatever is pure, whatever is lovely, whatever is of good repute, if there is any excellence and if anything worthy of praise, dwell on these things.” Philippians 4:6-8

Recently I experienced a powerful dream from the LORD. In this dream my 28 year old daughter was in the backseat of a limousine. She was in a heavenly perfect shalom with contentment and joy. She did not know where the driver was taking her, but she knew (had faith) in the driver. She knew that the driver knew the right place to take her and that the places he would take her would bring her great peace, joy, and contentment. What struck me in this dream was my daughter’s resting and trusting in the driver, as a child blindly trusts in her father.

Beloved, in receiving Yeshua, Father God has become your Driver. During these Fall Feasts of the LORD, He is calling us to cease from striving, remember His faithfulness of the past, and rest in His “backseat” to enjoy a supernatural ride to our destination! The Feasts of the LORD are a gift and call of God to disconnect from our usual daily distractions, struggles, and busyness in order to refocus, remember, and REST (trust) in Him. Our Beloved Father knew that we needed the mandate of celebrating His Feasts of Remembrance in order that we would be awakened to the supernatural story that He is carrying out on earth and through our lives. Truly they are an opportunity for spiritual blessing because they help us focus and rest upon God, our “Driver,” and His supernatural plans. Beloved of the Father, let go of your temporal thoughts and plans to seek the LORD through these Fall Holy Days of God. Let’s turn aside from daily distractions and struggles to study the Feasts with the Holy Spirit as our Teacher, and join with others in remembering and worshiping the LORD’s power and faithfulness. As we do, we will come to recognize Father’s Sovereign, unfolding plans in our lives. Our Savior is coming back soon, and Father God is at the wheel, so look up with faith, joy, and trust as you are driven to green pastures and still waters of an abundant eternal life!

In “running the race” (Hebrews 12:1), at times we become weary and exasperated. Knowing that God wants me to communicate all things with Him and to be “real” and honest with Him, I recently, in exasperation, cried out to Father, “What do You want from me?! What more?!” Immediately I felt His response back to the cry of my heart, “All of you. I gave you all of Me, and so you must give ALL of you.” His weighty Presence and revelatory response immediately awakened and strengthened me. He spoke into me of His Covenant that is a dynamic Divine exchange! In covenant with the LORD, my life is poured out, like Messiah Jesus’ life. Just as in a marriage covenant, it must be a continual, never-ending, poured out life. Praise God, we are not alone in this poured out life. Jesus went before us that we can follow Him to do what He did, but with His victory already sealed and His Spirit to empower us in the journey. The LORD speaks, “I gave you ALL of Me, so you must give all of you.” Beloved, you are in an amazing Divine, intimate love exchange with the LORD. Keep coming to your Source, with emptying and giving up ALL of yourself. Keep taking from His broken bread and wine, and keep pouring it back out!

Therefore, I will allot Him a portion with the great, And He will divide the booty with the strong; Because He poured out Himself to death, And was numbered with the transgressors; Yet He Himself bore the sin of many, And interceded for the transgressors. Isaiah 53:12

While many people struggle with compulsively looking at their cell phone for entertainment and the latest social media posts and communication, I have never thought of myself as addicted to my phone. Rabbi would warn me to be careful not to look at my phone all the time, but I never thought I had any cell phone addiction issues. I would respond to him that I am not addicted to my phone, and that I use my phone in a utilitarian manner to “be there” for family and for ministerial needs. Recently the Holy Spirit proved me wrong.

One of my responsibilities is to prepare the travel arrangements for Rabbi, myself, and our production team. Our recent travel to Israel involved very complicated logistics for ministering, filming, touring, prayer and study in The Land. All of my spiritual notes, directional maps, information and Apps are in my phone. Just prior to departing to Israel, I had a strong, fearful image of my very old cell phone suddenly ceasing to function while in Israel. Of course this served to create anxiety in me, but I pressed onward in prayer, calling on the LORD to cover the function of my phone for all of our upcoming travel needs.

Upon our arrival into Israel, while preparing for bed, sure enough, my cell phone went completely black and dysfunctional. With jet lag weariness and stress related to driving a rental car in a foreign country with my GPS not working now, I reeled in panic! While Rabbi slept, I paced the floor in desperate prayer, crying out for the LORD to touch my phone and make it work again. He did not answer my prayer. I cried out, like David in the Psalms, “LORD, where are you??! I am here in Your Land, yet feel as though You are far from me.” I felt myself sink deeper into fear, anxiety and desperation apart from God and fell to my knees.

Suddenly, the LORD shined His light upon my heart: I am addicted to my phone. Indeed, my phone had become my ultimate resource for maneuvering through our complicated society and daily life. The Holy Spirit spoke to me, “Do you want to lean into the unreliable worldly means, or do you want to lean into Me as your source for all that you need? Do you want to walk in the natural or in the supernatural?” With my heart laid bare before the LORD, I let go. I responded back to Him, “LORD, I want to experience Your supernatural life. I release all of my plans and fallible resources to You. I let go to blindly trust and depend upon YOU.” Immediately the peace of God, that passes all understanding, overtook my mind, body and soul. I looked down, and suddenly, my phone lit up. With my heart peacefully resting in Father’s control and supernatural means for accomplishing His will, my phone functioned perfectly throughout our remaining time in Israel. Beloved, let the Holy Spirit shine in to reveal what it is that your heart is trusting in for security and “safe” navigating through this rugged world. Trusting in the LORD and leaning not on your own understanding (Proverbs 3:5) will release you into a new peace and freedom!

You ARE loved and valued—by Me and by others you touch each day. Life and Relationships—that’s what’s happening in your day; and every smile, hug, and word of life, encouragement, wisdom, and revelation is imparting My Eternal life into a dying world. I AM completing the good work that I began in you. The gates of hell cannot prevail against you, and I WILL complete the plan for your life. Keep seeking My Face, My Presence and My Word. Keep stepping to follow Me as best as you know how, with trust and confidence that I am involved in every detail of your life. Know that My rod and staff will keep you on the path of righteousness.” Beloved, Jesus IS in you, the Hope of Glory. His transforming love, peace, grace, forgiveness, and joy is increasing within you as you keep contending to die to your old self to receive His Spirit and character within you. Through your life, God’s love and life come down to earth from Heaven, so keep pressing into Jesus and contending to the end. Don’t Stop!

The natural inclination of the heart is to think that we are the center of the universe, and that the world revolves around ourselves. Truly this defines the root of all sins. Even for those of us who seek to follow Jesus, the daily routines, external stimuli, fears and insecurities propel us to focus our thoughts and energy upon ourselves. Our heart and soul need corrected and aligned with truth from our Father so that we grow, thrive and complete the call upon our lives.

In Ezekiel 36:22–38, we find Father God soul-correcting His children. “It is not for your sake…that I am about to act, but for My holy name…I will vindicate the holiness of My great name…Then the nations will know that I am the LORD,…when I prove Myself holy among you in their sight.” What a wake-up call and soul correction! The entire purpose of God moving on our behalf is that His own holiness and glory would shine! Our lives revolve around God, like planets around the sun, and we serve to reflect the power and greatness of God. “For I will take you from the nations, gather you from all the lands…Then I will sprinkle clean water on you, and you will be clean; I will cleanse you from all your filthiness and from all your idols. Moreover, I will give you a new heart and put a new spirit within you; and I will remove the heart of stone from your flesh and give you a heart of flesh. I will put My Spirit within you and cause you to walk in My statutes, and you will be careful to observe My ordinances…so you will be My people, and I will be your God…I am not doing this for your sake,” declares the Lord GOD “…I will cause the cities to be inhabited, and the waste places will be rebuilt…Then they will know that I am the LORD.”’” By God’s power we are transformed, and anything holy, good and powerful must be understood as coming from God Himself, not from ourselves, that the LORD receives all glory and honor!

Let us daily repent of our self-centered fears and insecurities, and repent of our focus upon others and the material world, to declare that the LORD reigns over our lives and over all of history. Be still and know that He is God.

LORD, I let go and lose myself in Your holiness, power and greatness, for Your Namesake. Thank You, for the gift of salvation, the gift of Your Spirit that lives and moves within me, and the equipment to follow You. Your strength be perfected in my weakness and may Your story be completed perfectly through my life today, that I would reflect Your glory!

Recently the Holy Spirit apprehended me with the words, “No More Business As Usual.” When the Holy Spirit speaks, His message delivers resolute truth to the soul, which cannot be disputed. I knew that with these words the LORD was summoning us to let go of some of our old, good ways of operating in order to move upward to new ways of operating. His words mandated to not look back, but to look forward and upward and to follow Him wherever He leads. His Spirit words sobered me. We are in new times, Brethren, and with new times are new challenges and obstacles to overcome by His Spirit. As I continued to seek Father for revelation on His words, “No More Business As Usual,” I sensed that as we near Yeshua’s return the obstacles and challenges are so exasperating and overwhelming that the only way to overcome them is by faith and in His Spirit. Take no comfort in the strength of the flesh, for His way of victory will only come through laying down your entire being bare before Him. Nothing may be held back from Him, and all that is important must be surrendered in trust and faith to Him. At times, we will feel like Jesus going to the cross. In utter humility and prayer, we relinquish everything to completely cling to and trust the One Who reigns above everything. When nothing seems to make sense, and everything appears as a mess, let go and thrust your heart, in utter abandoned trust, into the hands of the Father and His sacrificed Son. This is circumcision of the heart. Beloved, persevere through your cross-journey in Jesus knowing that you have a 100% chance of supernatural victory over every challenge that you face, because Jesus has secured the victory through His death and resurrection.

“My grace is sufficient for you, for power is perfected in weakness.”

the power of Christ may dwell in me.

Lift up your weary heads—it’s time to celebrate! Though our world shouts panic, chaos, and doom, the LORD speaks, “Celebrate the Passover (I Cor. 5:7,8)! In Passover, the full extent of My love is revealed, and I have sealed your victory over sin, darkness, and death!”

Let’s step back to understand the story of our Creator and His love. God created people to enjoy His beauty in creation; but, because of sin, creation itself became the source they looked to for love, life, and truth. This has resulted in brokenness, dysfunction and ultimately death; for only the Creator can produce authentic love, life, and truth.

In God’s love for man, He created a pattern of substitutionary sacrificial atonement.

“For the life of the flesh is in the blood, and I have given it to you on the altar to make atonement for your souls; for it is the blood by reason of the life that makes atonement.” Leviticus 17:11

This system of forgiveness and restoration, through an innocent animal dying in place of a sinful person, was developed in the Tabernacle of old, as described in Exodus. It finds its climax and fulfillment in Jesus’ death on the cross at Passover.

During the time of Pharaoh’s oppressive rule over the Jewish people, God instructed His people to slaughter a lamb and place the blood over the doorposts of their homes. Done in faith, this sacrificial blood upon their doorposts would act as a sign and protection from God’s outpouring of judgment upon the Egyptians. “On that same night I will pass through Egypt and strike down every firstborn—both men and animals—and I will bring judgment on all the gods of Egypt. I am the LORD. The blood will be a sign for you on the houses where you are; and when I see the blood, I will pass over you. No destructive plague will touch you when I strike Egypt” (Exodus 12:12–13). God instructed His people to forever remember and celebrate His protection and deliverance from oppression, which came through their “Passover lamb” (Leviticus 23:4–5, Numbers 9:2).

During the Passover celebration, Jesus instructed His disciples, “This is my blood of the covenant, which is poured out for many for the forgiveness of sins” (Matthew 26:29). Beloved, Jesus’ blood sacrifice offers final forgiveness, protection, and deliverance from oppression. Let’s celebrate Father’s love revealed through the Passover, and not be afraid to share the Passover story with our neighbors, friends, and relatives. For Christ, our Passover Lamb has been sacrificed (I Cor. 5:7b), and in Him, our life and victory is secured!

The One I trust, He says, “Look into My eyes and come into Me.” He says, “Come into Me, and I will come into you. Bring all of your sin, your failures, your mistakes, and your darkened heart and mind. Bring all of your shame and generations of lies and deceptions that you bear.” The One I trust says, “Bring your hidden thoughts and all of your tears. Keep your gaze upon My eyes and bring all of your baggage into Me. Come into Me, for I am your Kinsman-Redeemer. I am your sacrificial Lamb and have poured out My blood, removing the consequence of death from you.

My living water cleanses and washes away the consequence of death and destruction, and I transform your ashes into life and beauty. I take your sin into Myself, and in the fire of My love all darkness is destroyed.

Come into Me with all that you are, for I am your Shepherd Who keeps you safe and carries you to our loving Father to receive His outpouring of Love and your inheritance of Glory!”

“For by grace you have been saved through faith; and that not of yourselves, it is the gift of God; not as a result of works, so that no one may boast. Ephesians 2:8-9” We experience faith in the LORD simply because He chose to impart His Spirit of revelation to us. I did not choose my own parents, nor the circumstances that I grew up under, but in my life story the LORD chose these for me, and He beautifully intervenes throughout my life to reveal Himself to me. Though God sovereignly chose us for Himself (even as He chose the Jewish people as a people for Himself, Deuteronomy 7:6), He calls us to release our fleshly will to receive and do His will. He calls us to lose our selves in Him. He calls us to come into divine alignment with the Father, Son, Holy Spirit, and Heaven itself. We are called to respond to His wooing and whispers, and follow Him. During a time when Rabbi was crying out in emotional pain to the LORD, the Holy Spirit spoke to Him, “If you would cooperate, it wouldn’t hurt so much.” Father has gifted us with the revelation of Himself, yet we must strive to stick CLOSELY to Him, just as a child clings to their parent for safety, guidance, and to keep from getting lost. Every day the battle is fierce as we strive to enter in through the narrow Gate, laying down fleshly impulses and the distractions of this world at the cross. Every day we war against the winds of this world (which seek to push us into the wide path of destruction), so that we daily cherish, honor, love, worship and follow our LORD and Savior. The war is rugged, but loving and following our Beloved One ALWAYS results in the peaceful fruit of righteousness (Hebrews 12:11), and crowns of joy to cast at His feet forevermore!

Grace and Peace to you from Father and Messiah Jesus in this New Year! And may the Wisdom, Knowledge and Revelation of our Beloved Bridegroom truly be your daily bread that feeds you and sustains you through all the winds and waves of 2019. Recently, while seeking the LORD in my morning devotional time, the following prayer filled my being. I have since continued to pray this prayer over myself and also pray it over each of you who partner with Rabbi and I.

Help us to help You, Oh LORD. Equip us to be Your arm of salvation reaching out. Equip us to be Your Voice breaking through deafness. Equip us to be Your Light in the darkness. Equip us to not agree with the enemy who accuses and condemns, but to breathe Your Spirit of love, compassion and grace that sets the captives free. Equip us to be Your shepherds to those who need shepherded and directed. Equip us to be Your Spirit of Papa and Mama to those who are fatherless and motherless. Yes, LORD, fill me with Your Spirit of Shalom and direct my path. I am wholly and completely dependent upon You, my LORD, my Father. I receive and drink in Your love, and the love of My Bridegroom King. I love You, oh Holy Spirit Who dwells within me. You endear me, You comfort me continually, and I cherish You. I cling to You, LORD…cling to me, and carry me to the end.

Please know that Rabbi and I love and appreciate you. May we remain united in Father’s Love and complete His plan for our lives—for Yeshua and His Kingdom!

Throughout every day we are continually making choices. Reaching our 50’s and now 60’s, Rabbi and I have become acutely aware of how our choices of today critically impact our experiences of tomorrow. Choices to repeatedly sit out in the sun to develop a “beautiful” tan can later result in wrinkled skin and multiple skin surgeries for skin cancer. Choices to eat outside of a balanced diet, with products that are filled with sugar, salt, fat, and other “junk,” causes cardiovascular breakdowns, diabetes, and obesity. Choosing to marry an unbeliever can result in heartache. And choosing to follow what everyone else does results in the blind following the blind into destruction. So Beloved, be aware of your thoughts throughout the day, and continually transform them into speaking, “I choose life.” No matter what the decision is, filter it through “I choose life.” Whether it be a choice of what to eat, what to spend your time on, what to say to others, or what to spend your money on, Father says, “Choose Me, Choose Life.” The LORD, our Creator, has the owner’s manual to our entire being, and His goal for us is to prosper in every area of our lives. Making Him the focus, our primary relationship, and following His ways will ALWAYS result in our entire being prospering.

“So whether you eat or drink or whatever you do, do it all for the glory of God.” I Corinthians 10:31

EVERY day is a new day created by God, with new ways and opportunities to rise up and overcome darkness. Last month we looked at John 3:3-8 and discovered how God grants the opportunity to begin life anew in Him (i.e., to be “born again” of His Spirit). Jesus most often refers to the LORD as “Father” (e.g., Matthew 6:9) which calls us to discover God as our new parent, Who has no guilt and no shame. Our new, eternal Father re-parents us from a place of pure compassion, unconditional love, joy, grace, and yet also all power, wisdom and right ways that produce unending life! Oh what a joy to be called, “Children of God” (I John 3:1)!

Last month’s challenge was to envision yourself as a newborn baby who looks up to gaze into your all-loving Father’s eyes and believe that that is who you are. Our identity is formed through the eyes of our parents. So now, through the blood of Jesus, the past is washed away, and you embark on a new journey of knowing your perfect parent, Father God, and who you are through His eyes. Continue to seek to lock gazes with the One Who is never worried and always confident in the future. Reach up, as a child, to release your concerns to your confident Father and take His hand. He will show you the way as you cling to Him. Let His Spirit carry you into His peace that passes the understanding of this world, and follow Him. Your Father is strong, all-knowing, and trustworthy, and He loves you.

When born again (John 3:3-8) the Spirit of God’s light and revelation comes in to shine upon our darkness and our blindness. Father God’s love and light in our heart and soul serves to overwhelm and drive out the darkness and blindness that dwells within us. Jesus uses the terminology “born again” to reveal that we are to start our lives all over! Just as a child is born into this world physically, with a father and mother to love, nurture, and show them the way through life, so you are on a journey of being “re-parented” by the LORD your Creator and perfect Father! Jesus most frequently referred to the LORD as His “Father,” and He taught us how we are to pray by beginning with, “Our Father…” (Matthew 6:9). What a light and a hope we have that we can be “re-parented” the right and perfect way! Yes, what a joy to be called, “Children of God” (I John 3:1)!

I challenge you this week to begin a new walk with Father by frequently envisioning yourself as a newborn baby who knows nothing of who he is or what his world is all about, except by looking up and gazing into all-loving Father’s eyes. Remember, your new parent has no guilt, no shame, and is FULL of unending love, joy, grace, and compassion. This new parent of yours holds you, and He has all knowledge, all wisdom and almighty power over EVERYTHING!! This is your new perfect parent Who’s eyes you are locking gazes with throughout the day. The blood of Jesus has washed away the past, to begin a new relationship with your perfect parent, Father God, today. Lock gazes with the One Who is never worried and always confident in the future. He will show you the way as you cling to Him to the end!

Our LORD loves us with the love of a perfect Father who guides and shepherds His children into ways that will produce strength and joy in their lives. Father God lovingly continues to call us out of our everyday, mundane, fleshly survival and into His higher supernatural experience of life. Father’s call to celebrate seasons of remembrance, or The Feasts of the LORD, bring us out of our everyday struggles to remember Him and His supernatural involvement in our lives. The Feasts awaken us to a renewed confidence in our God Who IS in control and Who has a divine plan for our lives. They give us new vision, hope and direction. The Fall Feasts lift my heart and mind to look up with great excitement and expectation of my Savior’s return. They awaken me to the truth that Jesus is returning and that suffering and sin on earth will not prosper, but will end. The Fall Feasts call me to be cleansed and to become a readied Bride whose oil is burning with a lovesickness that will call our Beloved back!

Reading and searching the Scriptures results in intrigue and a mystery to be solved and discovered! Who is this One Who created all things and Who created me?! How does He operate, what are His motives and how do I fit into His plan and world? Approached as a book of knowledge, the Scriptures result in confusion and misunderstanding. But, approached as a mystery to be solved through the Spirit of the Author results in the intriguing, life-giving revelation of Truth within our inner man. The Bible reveals the God and Creator of all, Whose deepest desire is for connection and relationship with His created beings. It is a love story with you in mind from beginning to end. In Colossians, Paul shares that our Messiah, Jesus, came in Father’s love to lift us from seeing with mere, fallen, mortal eyes to see and experience the deepest, most satisfying relationship there is: the Spirit of God living within our mortal bodies! How close of a relationship is that!! Wow, receiving Jesus is to receive the Father and the Spirit into your heart and soul for a love transformation! Oneness in Spirit (marriage) with the Creator is to experience Love at its deepest level. Keep reading and searching the Scriptures with the Spirit of the Author and walk into the mystery of Christ in you, the hope of glory!

“Trust in the LORD with all your heart, and lean not on your own understanding. Acknowledge Him in all your ways, and He will make your paths straight.” Proverbs 3:5,6

Recently I awoke from an intense dream feeling heavy. In the dream I encountered a very frightening attacker who had caused harm to others and who threatened me as well. I saw in his face that he was terribly wounded with emotional and spiritual pain, and desperately in need of love. Suddenly I found myself with others who also felt compassion for this very broken attacker. We were rushing around trying to hide evidence that could convict the man of a criminal offense. I awakened from my dream sickened that I had been participating in a cover-up of crime. I called on the LORD for cleansing and revelation. The Holy Spirit revealed that although I and others were seeking to make things better, we were responding out of our emotions and self-will, which resulted in a convoluted mess of more sin and guilt. Torn by compassion for the offender and yet also feeling terrible for the victim, Father God spoke to me that He has all concerns in mind, and that HE alone has the way through these dark situations. So many times we find our emotions propelling us in our thoughts and actions. We try to fix horrible, painful situations without consulting and following the LORD. Even within our own families we can become overwhelmed with our emotions and as a result try to fix problems in the flesh. This can make matters even worse. Let’s instead look up, pray and release the situation at the Cross. Receive Jesus’ forgiveness for running in fleshly compulsions, and look to the LORD. His way requires you to let go of the wheel, trust and humbly do what He says.

LORD, strengthen me to follow You, trusting that YOU will transform all into Your goodness and Glory as I look up and follow Your lead!

“Pray for the peace of Jerusalem: May they prosper who love you. May peace be within your walls, And prosperity within your palaces.” Psalm 122:6-7

Hear, oh Church, the Holy Spirit’s cry for you to pray for the peace of Jerusalem during this month of May 2018! As Rabbi and I are in the land of Israel during this month of May, we entreat you to pray for Israel. On May 14, 1948, David Ben Gurion declared the restoration of the Jewish State, Israel. On June 7, 1967, after the Six Day War, Israel captured the Old City of Jerusalem. Now, in 2018, as Israel celebrates 70 years of independence, the United States boldly proclaims that the US Embassy is moved from Tel Aviv into Jerusalem on May 14th, 2018. What exciting times of watching prophecy fulfilled!
Isaiah 66:8 states, “Can a land be born in one day? Can a nation be brought forth all at once?” The answer came forth for Israel as an emphatic, “Yes!” on May 14th, 1948! Church, “Be joyful with Jerusalem and rejoice for her, all you who love her; Be exceedingly glad with her, all you who mourn over her, that you may nurse and be satisfied with her comforting breasts, that you may suck and be delighted with her bountiful bosom.” Isaiah 66:10-11

The Gospel came to us through the Jewish people. Our Redeemer has promised to return to us as the Lion of Judah, setting up the New Jerusalem in the land claimed for Himself. Truly blessed are we who have been grafted into the Olive Tree of the Jewish people, to receive all the blessings of Abraham and his descendants, through Jesus, our Messiah and coming King!
Though we celebrate such an occasion of joy for Israel, Israel is in perilous times with enemies to their right and left, and hardly an ally to support and strengthen them against their enemies. With Arabs insisting that Jerusalem must be the capital of a future Palestinian state, and the Palestine Liberation Organization angered over the US moving their embassy to Jerusalem, protests and violence loom over the land of Israel.

Pray for the schemes of Satan against Israel to be thwarted, and for the LORD’s Angels to be released to earth for holding back their enemies until the time is right and all eyes have been opened to receive Jesus and His Eternal Life. Your prayers for the Jewish people to see and know their Messiah, will result in their eyes being opened and their praise to Yeshua (“Blessed be the Name of the LORD”), which will usher in Jesus’ return (Luke 13:35)!

Church, when you pray for Heaven to come down to Jerusalem and the LORD’s chosen people, you are advancing God’s Divine Plan for Yeshua’s return!

Without warning, a furious storm came up on the lake, so that the waves swept over the boat. But Jesus was sleeping… “You of little faith, why are you so afraid?” Matthew 8:24, 26

If Jesus slept through storms, we can sleep through the storms of life too! When you lay down to rest your wearied body and your mind races with thoughts, or your spirit is anxious and agitated, stop wrestling with your flesh and begin warring in the Spirit against the enemy who is tormenting you. In March I shared how repeating the LORD’s prayer (Matthew 6:9-13; Luke 11:2-4) over and over can bring you into a breakthrough of God’s Presence and Hope. Additionally, repeatedly speaking four short words, “The Blood of Jesus,” destroys oppressive spirits and ignites God’s Spirit of light within you! Jesus’s Blood at the cross is powerful! Father removes all guilt, accusation, shame and condemnation through Jesus. Envision Jesus’s Blood washing away past wayward thinking and actions. Forgiveness releases freedom in our hearts and minds, so that we can rest. And finally, Beloved, envision yourself releasing the wheel of your life to God! He IS trustworthy to go before you with His Angels, transforming EVERY situation into His goodness and Glory, but you must RELEASE your challenges to the LORD. Let Him “fix” things HIS way. May the Spirit of God live in you to praise the LORD and commune with your loving Bridegroom and Father tonight as you rest your head on your pillow!

Lift up your weary heads—it’s time to celebrate! Though our world shouts panic, chaos, and doom, the LORD speaks, “Celebrate the Passover (I Cor. 5:7,8)! In Passover the full extent of My love is revealed, and I have sealed your victory over sin, darkness and death!”

Let’s step back to understand the story of our Creator and His love. God created people to enjoy His beauty in creation; but, because of sin, creation itself became the source they looked to for love, life and truth. This has resulted in brokenness, dysfunction and ultimately death; for only the Creator can produce authentic love, life and truth.

In God’s love for man, He created a pattern of substitutionary sacrificial atonement.

“For the life of the flesh is in the blood, and I have given it to you on the altar to make atonement for your souls; for it is the blood by reason of the life that makes atonement.” Leviticus 17:11

This system of forgiveness and restoration, through an innocent animal dying in place of a sinful person, was developed in the Tabernacle of old, as described in Exodus. It finds its climax and fulfillment in Jesus’ death on the cross at Passover.

During the time of Pharaoh’s oppressive rule over the Jewish people, God instructed His people to slaughter a lamb and place the blood over the doorposts of their homes. Done in faith, this sacrificial blood upon their doorposts would act as a sign and protection from God’s outpouring of judgment upon the Egyptians. “On that same night I will pass through Egypt and strike down every firstborn—both men and animals—and I will bring judgment on all the gods of Egypt. I am the LORD. The blood will be a sign for you on the houses where you are; and when I see the blood, I will pass over you. No destructive plague will touch you when I strike Egypt” (Exodus 12:12–13). God instructed His people to forever remember and celebrate His protection and deliverance from oppression, which came through their “Passover lamb” (Leviticus 23:4–5, Numbers 9:2).

During the Passover celebration, Jesus instructed His disciples, “This is my blood of the covenant, which is poured out for many for the forgiveness of sins” (Matthew 26:29). Beloved, Jesus’ blood sacrifice offers final forgiveness, protection, and deliverance from oppression. Let’s celebrate Father’s love revealed through the Passover, and not be afraid to share the Passover story with our neighbors, friends and relatives. Jesus is our Passover Lamb of God, and in Him our life and victory is secured!

You lay down to receive a well-needed time of rest and restoration to your body, but find that as you close your eyes, your mind and spirit are not in agreement with your wearied body. Though your body is positioned for sleep, your internal mind is racing with thoughts and your spirit is anxious and agitated. When I was a young adolescent, I began to experience this phenomenon at night. Through the years, the LORD revealed that He is the answer to this, and every, problem. Firstly, remember that we do not wrestle with flesh and blood, but against spirit and principalities (Ephesians 6:12). As a young adolescent, I began reciting the LORD’s prayer (Matthew 6:9-13) to myself when I laid down to rest at night. I would repeat it over and over and over again until there were peace and rest that came over my body and I found I was deep in sleep. To this day this helps me, but I have discovered additional methods of entering into God’s rest at night, as well. Sometimes when I feel overwhelmed with anxiety, I repeat four short words, “The Blood of Jesus.” I will not stop repeating these words until I find that the darkness and anxiety begin to flee, and I begin to feel light and hope, and I can move into pronouncing God’s word of hope over my life. Practice these principles of bringing Father’s love and peace into your body as you lay down to rest, and take back your sleep!

In the beginning, “The LORD God took the man and put him into the garden of Eden to cultivate it and keep it. (Genesis 2:15).” Though our world has been corrupted and filled with struggles, in being born again by the Spirit of God, Yeshua has placed you back into God’s Garden of Eden! Yes, this garden of God’s Spirit dwells within you, but you do not experience it when you have not cultivated and kept it. Beloved, cultivate relationship with God’s Spirit within, in order to experience His Garden of beauty, love, and joy. “Come away, my beloved, and be like a gazelle or like a young stag on the spice-laden mountains” (Song of Songs 8:14). Let go of the heaviness of the world, call on Yeshua’s Name and His Blood for cleansing, and forge your way back into the experience of God’s Spirit within.

Continually talk to His Spirit about all the details of your day, and speak to Him in personalized, first-person Scriptures. Some examples: “LORD, I release myself and this person (whom I am worried about) at Your cross, so that You transform me, this person and this situation into Your goodness. Faithful, Almighty Father, take the wheel, for You are my Shepherd and You keep me on the right path. I follow You with all my heart, mind and strength. Close every door that leads to destruction, and open every door that leads to Your goodness. Though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death, You are with me, and I shall not fear, for You always hold me and keep me safe.”

Beloved, run into your Garden of Eden with God and experience His peaceful, right Spirit.

While in college, my friend saw a poster on my wall with Hebrews 11:1 on it: “Now faith is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen.” He asked me, with disdain in his voice, “What does that even mean?!” I looked up and read it, and though originally it had strong meaning to me (with its picture of Olga Korbut, my favorite gymnast, leaping in the air with strength and conviction), at that moment, during a season of doubt and walking apart from the Holy Spirit, I could not discern what it meant. My atheist friend and I sought to understand the Scripture without consulting with the Spirit of God, and clearly the things of God could not be grasped through cognition alone. Comprehension and revelation of the LORD and His Word come through communion with the Holy Spirit and receiving His revelation. This truly is a gift of the LORD. How ironic that the Scripture we failed to understand was the Scripture that spoke of how we need faith, which comes through revelation, in order to believe and comprehend the LORD, His Word, and His promises! If you, or others you know, are struggling to comprehend the LORD and His Word, pray for the LORD to
impart the gift of faith and revelation. Breakthrough is sure to follow!

Recently my precious friend and sister- in-Jesus, Sherri Hardy, came out with me to a remote location in the woods to seek the LORD. As we forged through the woods to return home, we discovered that we were lost and without direction. As Sherri was ahead of me looking for a path out of the woods, I looked down to discover a very large pile of bear dung, indicating that bear could be somewhere close by! I walked onward and shared with Sherri that I had just passed a large pile of bear dung, and at that very moment I looked around and discovered that Sherri and I were trapped by trees and high, deep foliage all around us! With thoughts of a bear nearby and the two of us lost and trapped in the woods, panic set in. My mind ran out of a plan for getting home, and in this trapped state, I knew there was only one hope for us…Look up and cry out to Jesus for the way out! With my Spirit awakened, I cried out to Father God to show us a way out. Sherri joined with me. The next thing we knew, Sherri and I were beyond the high trees and foliage and heading back toward home! Once again, my supernatural Father heard my cry when I felt isolated, trapped, and frightened by forces of evil that could harm me.

If fear and panic are setting in, Beloved ones, LOOK UP and trust Him for the way out! As David said, even when we walk through the valley of the shadow of death, we shall fear no evil, for He is with us (Psalm 23:4).

“Jesus OFTEN withdrew to lonely places and prayed.” Luke 5:16

How often are you withdrawing to a lonely place (apart from coworkers, family, and friends)? If Jesus OFTEN withdrew to talk with His Father, and He is the perfect Son of our Father, how often do we need to withdraw to an alone place, for talking with our Daddy? Jesus says, “Come, follow me…” Matthew 4:19. If Yeshua, our mentor and teacher, often withdrew to be alone with Father God; then it must be a primary key to living a supernatural life. Again, Jesus calls, “Come, follow me,” and withdraw OFTEN to talk with Father. Supernatural peace, satisfaction, and joy come in going to a place in which we talk to no one else but God, Himself. Identify times and locations for setting yourself apart to talk to your Father.

“Draw near to God and He will draw near to you.” James 4:8

You were created primarily FOR your Creator and, as you seek Him with all your heart, in love, He will release your identity, purpose, and a supernatural way through this rugged road of earthly life.

We’re all looking for that formula that solves all problems and shows us the way of life. But, just when we thought we discovered “the answer,” we find ourselves back in times of disappointment, pain, fear, or loneliness. We discover that there is no 12-step program that solves all problems and answers all questions. The Answer is always Jesus—“the Way, the Truth and the Life” (John 14:6). And even in Him, there is no 12-step program that can be followed to avoid the ups and downs of life, for the LORD’s ways are unorthodox, spiritual in nature, and we live in a world that’s darkened by Satan’s fallen nature.

The only answer for victory in life is to continually give over our heart, soul, and being to Him. “You shall love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your might” (Deuteronomy 6:5). This is where faith, trust, and relationship are built. This is how we encounter our Creator and find Him ordering out our life, despite ourselves and despite others. As we repeatedly give our heart, soul, and entire being to our Beloved Savior, seeking to be cleansed from the mind of this world to follow His higher ways as best as we can discern, He will order out our lives. As we give Him the wheel of our life, He will transform us into heavenly beauty, which does not conform to this darkened, lost world. “Not by might, nor by power, but by My Spirit, sayeth the LORD” (Zechariah 4:6).

Recently, Rabbi and I sought to relax and disconnect from our intense ministry schedule. I heard the LORD speak, “Disconnect, from the concerns of ministry and life, to connect with Me.” With these words, I saw a clear vision of our hearts, minds, and spirits unplugging from the concerns of daily life, in order to wholly and fully plug into God above. After hearing God’s voice, I pleaded the Blood of Jesus for the cleansing of our hearts and minds. As we traveled out into nature, I was blessed with the smells of life from the trees and vegetation that surrounded us, and I caught a glimpse of the beautiful symbiotic life that we have with them. We take in the oxygen from the trees and vegetation and then breathe back to them carbon dioxide to give them life. As I told my daughter about this beautiful phenomenon, my daughter expressed to me, “Wow, that’s like a picture of us taking in the love and spirit of God, and then giving Him back our love, praise, and thanksgiving!” What a beautiful picture of the symbiotic nature of life between us and our Creator God! This is how we wholly and fully plug into our Father above! We connect with the LORD by receiving His love and Spirit, and then by releasing praise, thanksgiving, and love up to Him. Beloved ones, know that the LORD is moved toward you through your praise today!

“I will proclaim the name of the Lord. Oh, praise the greatness of our God! He is the Rock, His works are perfect, and all His ways are just. A faithful God who does no wrong, upright and just is He.” Deuteronomy 32:3, 4

In the intense times we live in (people running to and fro, the stress created by an increase in knowledge and technology, fear of terrorism, as well as many struggling with a crisis in personal identity), I pray for you to keep your first love through an allegiance to a daily, set-apart time with the LORD. Remember that Your Beloved Creator created you for Himself, and He has your owner’s manual.

During my “set-apart” times I seek ways of laying down all of my weaknesses, failures, worries and cares at the feet of Jesus, in order to enter into intimate relations and connection with my Almighty Father God. Recently, the LORD connected me with Himself through meditation upon I Cor. 6:15a, “Do you not know that your bodies are members of Christ?…” Members mean “appendages,” as in His arms, legs, etc. Yes, in Messiah Jesus we are integral parts of the LORD! As the Spirit took me into this reality, I saw myself as His finger. I saw, through the eyes of my heart, the LORD in bodily form, and I saw His loving Being extended into me, His finger. His loving, Almighty Being filled me and He released His love and light unto me, giving me revelation and understanding about specific situations I am in.

Oh precious ones of the LORD, I pray today, that you see yourself connected in Spirit with Yeshua, and that you see yourself as His finger pointed into this world. As Messiah’s appendage, release Father’s unconditional love and light into every situation that He has called you to.

Is there someone who feels like a thorn in your flesh? Perhaps it is someone in your congregation or your workplace, a family member, or possibly even your spouse. Do you avoid the body of Messiah Jesus, seeking to avoid further emotional/relational pain?

Brethren, you are not alone, but we need to understand that conflict is actually to be expected. Being created in the image of God, we continually crave and need relationship because our God is a relational being. Ideally, His love is to flow through us toward one another. However, there is another spirit that operates within this world that works to separate us from God and others. It crops up when words are spoken that wound us, threaten our self-esteem, or cause us to fear. Yet, what Satan means for evil, God transforms to our good, as we love Him first.

Proverbs 27:17 speaks, “Iron sharpens iron, so one man sharpens another.” Yes, Father God speaks that that “thorn in your flesh” that is triggering pain may be just the force you need to cause you to look upward to the LORD, and as you do, it will bring about your personal transformation. The Holy Spirit releases you to see yourself and others more clearly.

Yeshua wants to perfect us in His love.

He wants to speak into every one of your painful, “sharpening”, relationships in order to impart His love, healing and security into you. Release Father’s unconditional love into the broken ones around you, and as you do, the principle of “iron sharpening iron” will release Father’s Glory into your life!

Each day Rabbi and I seek the LORD by listening to music from the Kansas City International House of Prayer, crying out to Him, listening for His subtle voice, as well as seeking books and materials to surround us in His Truth. But, just like you, we venture out into the world that surrounds us, which is not always filled with His Spirit and Truth. People we encounter in the family, the workplace, as well as the marketplace, often do not have the Spirit of wisdom, knowledge and revelation of their Creator.

As I was interacting with family members one day, I felt an oppression upon me. I silently enquired of the LORD what this was, and His Spirit showed me that as I sought to speak of Him, and how He is involved in every detail of our lives, the family members felt uncomfortable and backed away from me. The LORD revealed to me that this was a spirit of shame that was coming from them, in response to talking about our Creator. This shame was empowered by a fear of rejection and being left alone.

The LORD then clearly spoke these words to me, “Shame on them, NOT shame on Me!!!” WOW! Revelation immediately hit me! I repented, saying, “LORD, YOU are the center of the universe. You are the Creator of all things, and just as planets revolve around the sun, so I revolve around the Son of God, the Most High King of Kings; Who was, Who is, and Who is to come! I will remain in this truth and continue to speak of You in my home, in my work, and in the marketplace; that YOUR Name is exalted upon the earth. LORD, draw all men to Yourself through my life!”

“O our God, won’t you stop them? We are powerless against this mighty army that is about to attack us. We do not know what to do, but we are looking to you for help”… “Then King Jehoshaphat bowed low with his face to the ground. And all the people of Judah and Jerusalem did the same, worshiping the Lord.” 2 Chronicles 20:12, 18

Some would say that the natural human reaction to foreseeable hardship is that of fear and anxiety, but it’s interesting, the Lord tells us time and time again, “Do not be afraid.” Easier said than done, right?! Jehoshaphat illustrates how to face life’s battles with Holy confidence. Often when faced with frightening situations we attempt to muster up courage and then remain paralyzed by fear. Rather than being led by his imagination to look upon the future with fear, Jehoshaphat actually looked backwards on all the times the Lord had been faithful. Remembering all of the times that God has been faithful helps us to exercise faith in the Father and trust that He is for us. The second thing Jehoshaphat did was to worship. Worship is a lot easier in times of celebration and gladness, but where it truly has the power to transform is in times of fear and desperation. Worship turns our hearts and our minds away from ourselves and toward our King. This means that instead of focusing on ourselves, God gives us a channel to gaze upon and receive the truth of His omnipotent love.

Whatever you are facing this month, remember: God is with you and for you. Remind yourself of instances of Father’s faithfulness, and turn your fearful heart to Him in worship.

Lift up your weary heads—it’s time to celebrate! Though our world shouts panic, chaos, and doom, the LORD speaks, “Celebrate the Passover (I Cor. 5:7,8)! In Passover the full extent of My love is revealed, and I have sealed your victory over sin, darkness and death!”

Let’s step back to understand the story of our Creator and His love. God created people to enjoy His beauty in creation; but, through sin, creation itself became the source they looked to for love, life and truth. This has resulted in brokenness, dysfunction and ultimately death; for only the Creator can produce authentic love, life and truth.

In God’s love for man, He created a pattern of salvation which, when followed, could bring his broken people back into fellowship with Himself. Since death is the result (or penalty) for focusing upon the creation and away from the life-giving Creator, the LORD developed a pattern in which a living creature could take the penalty of death in exchange for another’s life. This system of forgiveness and restoration, through an innocent animal dying in place of a sinful person, was developed in the Tabernacle of old, as described in Exodus. It finds its climax and fulfillment in Jesus’ death on the cross at Passover.

During the time of Pharaoh’s oppressive rule over the Jewish people, God instructed His people to slaughter a lamb and place the blood over the doorposts of their homes. Done in faith, this sacrificial blood upon their doorposts would act as a sign and protection from God’s outpouring of judgment upon the Egyptians. “On that same night I will pass through Egypt and strike down every firstborn—both men and animals—and I will bring judgment on all the gods of Egypt. I am the LORD. The blood will be a sign for you on the houses where you are; and when I see the blood, I will pass over you. No destructive plague will touch you when I strike Egypt” (Exodus 12:12-13). God instructed His people to forever remember and celebrate His protection and deliverance from oppression, which came through their “Passover lamb” (Leviticus 23:4-5, Numbers 9:2).

During the Passover celebration, Jesus instructed His disciples, “This is my blood of the covenant, which is poured out for many for the forgiveness of sins” (Matthew 26:29). Beloved, Jesus’ blood sacrifice offers final forgiveness, protection, and deliverance from oppression. Let’s celebrate Father’s love revealed through the Passover, and share the Passover story with our neighbors, friends and relatives. Jesus is our Passover Lamb of God, and in Him our life and victory is secured!

We reside in the world where Satan resides. Jesus said, “I know where you live – where Satan has his throne” (Revelation 2:13). The spirit of darkness acts like a gravity that tries to pull us downward. Our enemy is committed to living apart from Creator
God. He wants to draw us into the deception of living for ourselves and being bent toward humankind rather than God. In Jeremiah 2:13, God says, “My people have committed two sins: They have forsaken Me, the spring of living water, and have dug cisterns, broken cisterns that cannot hold water.” Trying to find our identity in things and the affirmation of others is a broken cistern. My Beloved of our Father, stay vigilant and keep pushing the reset button to abide in the Truth. Life is found in Father God, His love and His eternal Kingdom. Jesus said, “Now this is eternal life: that they may know the only true God …” (John 17:3). I challenge you to look upward and reset yourself by opening up to Ephesians 1 in your Bible and begin reading. This chapter resets our heart and mind in the Truth, and we find the joy of the LORD arise within us!

I cried out to the LORD, “What about Your people? How are we to survive and persevere through the intensity of the End Times?!” It seems as though another level of evil has been released upon the earth, and pain and suffering surrounds us. There are no doctors, nor kings or presidents, that can bring healing and peace to our world. As incense rises upward so my words of prayer rose to our Heavenly Father, and He answered. “Though Satan’s releasing curses, I equip My people during the End Times. My equipment will keep them to the end. My people are to bless.” With His words to me came great revelation.

Comrades, blessings trump curses.

As believers in Messiah Jesus, Father hears our prayers, as incense to Him (Revelation 8:4), and He has assigned us as priests to call down the power and might of blessings from His Heavenly realm. One of our assignments, as His priests, is to speak blessings (Deuteronomy 21:5). I challenge you to do a Bible word search and study on the word “bless.” You will be amazed by seeing the power of blessing throughout all of Scripture! Do you want to change the course of physical, emotional and relational dysfunction…bless. Bless, in Jesus’ Name–your enemies, your ailing physical part of your body, and those you encounter throughout the day. You have the power to bring Heaven down to earth by calling Father’s blessing into every situation!

I have been asked, “Why are you and Rabbi spending so much time, money and effort on going to Africa and the nations to preach and evangelize? Isn’t poverty the greatest problem? How are you really helping them?” This is a good question that needs to be answered.

The LORD impacted Rabbi and I with a passion to extend our outreach beyond the USA in 2013, when Terry Snow, director of Haiti YWAM, called us to come and preach the Gospel at a Crusade in St. Marc, Haiti. While in Haiti, I learned of how the United States and other countries have been pouring millions of dollars into Haiti to rescue them from poverty. I was devastated to see that all of the dollars spent had resulted in minimal resolution of the country’s extensive poverty. When speaking to Terry Snow, he validated what I was seeing. The problem has been in how to transform the way people think. Continual dependence upon other countries for help, along with a spiritual history which had made allegiances with demonic spirits, has resulted in a majority of Haitians being trapped behind passivity, seeking handouts; while lacking the ability to create and maintain new systems that would produce greater life and health in the Haitian people. Upon ministering to many African people groups, we have observed the same phenomenon occurring in many Africans nations.

So what is Rabbi and the DJJ team bringing to these people groups?

  1. Fulfillment of a prophetic dream that the LORD gave Rabbi years ago, in which he reached out to a severely wounded black man and released God’s life and healing into his body. At the crusades, supernatural healings are being released as people look up to their Creator for hope, healing and wholeness.
  2. An anointing of God’s revelation and divine creativity, which the LORD has imparted to His Jewish people, is being released from Rabbi into the people. The Spirit of God is empowering them to destroy old generational spirits of passivity and destructive life patterns, and equipping them to make positive changes.
  3. The Church is being strengthened as Pastors and leaders are trained up in important doctrinal truths of the Gospel, which will in turn be imparted to their congregations. Most of the Pastors where we minister have no formal training or education, so this is crucial.
  4. The Gospel is being preached to the utter ends of the earth, fulfilling the great commission and preparing the way for Jesus’ return!

“This gospel of the kingdom shall be preached in the whole world as a
testimony to all the nations, and then the end will come.” Matthew 24:14

Throughout Scriptures we read of certain women described as “beautiful,” which resulted in them being desired by men (eg. Sarah, Rebecca, and Esther). We, as women, can be left thinking thoughts of not being beautiful enough to be desired, and thus emotionally rejected like Leah, when reading these Scriptures. 1 Peter 3:3 tells us not to adorn ourselves to focus on outer beauty. So where does that leave us?

“Instead it should be that of your inner self, the unfolding beauty of a gentle and quiet spirit, which is of great worth in God’s sight. For this is the way the holy women of the past who put their hope in God used to make themselves beautiful … You are Sarah’s daughters if you do what is right and do not give way to fear” 1 Peter 3:4-6. True, lasting beauty is found through an inner heart bent toward the LORD. As we reject the false, fleeting outer beauty of adornment for our identity, and seek

Father’s voice of adoration toward us, then we begin to flourish in the Spirit’s inner peace, love and

beauty. His joy and beauty shines forth from our physical body. You are beautiful today because you were created by the master Artist. Cry out for His beautiful love and Spirit to fill you today, to give you true peace and beauty. Let Father lead you in the care of your body and what to wear each day. God’s love, joy, peace and beauty in you will draw all men to the Father through you!

Have you ever sensed an unsettled feeling inside that is like a deep hole or craving that must be filled? Have you ever wondered what it was you were yearning for? Our Creator created us with these deep yearnings for our survival. The things that we hunger and thirst for, when taken into the body, will produce life. Merriam-Webster Dictionary defines “need” as, “something that a person must have: something that is needed in order to live or succeed or be happy.”

So what is it that we yearn for? We yearn for the experience of love, life, and identity. The LORD created us needy so that we would be driven to seek Him to meet these deep needs! Our problems result from seeking to meet these needs apart from Him and His wisdom. David, the Psalmist, cries out from places of deep need. “Hear, O Lord, when I cry with my voice, And be gracious to me and answer me. When You said, ‘Seek My face,’ my heart said to You, ‘Your face, O Lord, I shall seek.’” (Psalm 27:7-8). David discovered that the LORD was personal, loving, and had answered his prayers.

So whenever you feel lost and needy, remember, your neediness is a gift from God. He wants you to seek Him, find Him, and follow His ways of life. “Here I am! I stand at the door and knock. If anyone hears my voice and opens the door, I will come in and eat with him, and he with Me” (Revelations 3:20).

Releasing God’s Love
Looking to Father God for fresh vision as we approached 2016 I strongly sensed Him saying to me, “Love Well.” Loving involves both knowing someone, and being known. In Part I, I highlighted the need to be initiative in expressing our detailed thoughts to Father God, who cares and will respond to us as we reach out to Him. As we practice talking to God we will experience His Presence and discern His Spirit-voice throughout each day.

In Part II of “Loving Well” we learned to embrace Yeshua’s
Church, which consists of imperfect Christians. The only difference between Christians and the world is that we recognize our brokenness and receive Jesus’ blood and crucifixion as penalty for sin, by which we are saved and have our names written on the Book of Eternal Life. A Christian seeks to know the LORD and to be transformed from the inside out, but transformation takes a lifetime. Loving well, as a Christian, is to reject accusation and condemnation toward one another, and to bear with one another in the grace and mercy that Jesus has shown us.

Finally, in being filled with Father’s love, and then binding together with Yeshua’s Church, we can fulfill the final mandate of releasing Father’s love to a lost world which does not know our Father. We live in stressful times. Deep fears reside in people all around us. What results, when not walking in the knowledge of Father God, is abrasive, defensive, and rejecting behaviors. Father is calling us to remain at peace within His Spirit of love and to release His
unconditional love to those around us. Let’s “Love well” in 2016, and build the Kingdom of God!

Loving The Body of Messiah

In my last letter, I wrote of the Holy Spirit’s call for us, as Yeshua’s Bride, to “Love Well.” I pray that the Holy Spirit brings you deep revelation of this spirit-filled Word. Firstly, and foremost, loving well is to focus on experiencing and receiving Father’s Love. Part I of this series revealed that, through expressing your thoughts out loud to the LORD throughout the day, communion with God takes place (Song of Solomon 2:14). As you talk directly to God throughout the day, you are making connection with Him, Who imparts His energizing love, life, and truth into your being.

Part II, of “Loving Well” in 2016, embodies loving His imperfect Church. We and that the Apostles frequently began their letters to the Church with the words “grace” and “peace.” Satan seeks to lure us, as the Body of Messiah, into thoughts of accusation and condemnation toward ourselves and each other – which destroy. Beloved Church of God, drink in Jesus’ forgiveness and Father’s love, and in turn, think and speak love and grace to one another. “I pray that out of His glorious riches He may strengthen you with power through His Spirit in your inner being, so that Christ may dwell in your hearts through faith. And I pray that you being rooted and established in love, may have power, together with all the saints, to grasp how wide and long and high and deep is the love of Christ …” (Ephesians 3:16-18).

As I looked to the Holy Spirit to breathe upon me what His new heart and vision for 2016 was, He spoke these words to me, “LOVE WELL.” Wow! I could only drink in these words from His Spirit, for they were so full of revelation and deep meaning. “The first and most important ingredient to loving well,” He expressed to me, “is to be a receiver of My love.”

In opposition to the random, cluttered thoughts that o en consume my day, I saw a picture of me looking up to see God. “Talk to Me out loud,” He spoke, “I created your vocal cords so that I could hear the beautiful sound of your voice. Tell me out loud what it is that you are thinking … yes, every little detail that sounds silly when spoken, is what I want to hear you talk to Me about.
Seek My heart concerning what you are thinking. I am in the details of your life.” I found that as I practiced talking to Him out loud about my thoughts, I felt His Presence. He brought me to the Scripture, Song of Solomon 2:14,

“My dove in the clefts of the rock, in the hiding places on the mountainside, show me your face, let me hear your voice; for your voice is sweet, and your face is lovely.”

Life on earth has been an unfolding story – God’s master design and plan revealed before our very eyes – and we are in the middle of history … His story! Exodus 12 tells us the history of the Passover lamb that was slain as a sacrifice. The LORD told the Israelites to place the blood of this lamb upon the left and right doorframes and on the top of the door to their homes. Some believe that the motion that was made to apply the blood was in the shape of a cross. “When the LORD goes through the land to strike down the Egyptians (who represent those living apart from a relationship with God),He will see the blood on the top and sides of the doorframe and will pass over that doorway, and He will not permit the destroyer to enter your houses and strike you down” (Exodus 12:23).

“Look, the Lamb of God who takes away the sin of the world” John 1:29

Precious ones, Father God provided His Son, Jesus on the cross, to be our final Sacrificial Lamb. Eternal death and destruction remain a threat to lives today. The intensity of darkness and despair without faith in the Lamb of God is seen in the faces we encounter every day. This Passover season, look into the eyes of someone you know or encounter and tell them of the Creator God who knows their struggle and pain in this darkened world. Tell them His story of the Passover Lamb. Share Father’s love and His plan of freedom from death and destruction. Lead them in asking for Jesus to cover their heart and soul – with His blood. Pray for the Spirit of Life to come in and set them free from all slavery and bondages of the past. And, finally, encourage them that they have just stepped into discovering supernatural and eternal life.

Beloved of God, you impart Father’s eternal life to those around you when you step out and share Father’s story of the Passover Lamb. Let’s be like John the Baptist who pointed people to Jesus and proclaimed, “Look, the Lamb of God who takes away the sin of the world” (John 1:29).

Before working full time at Rabbi’s side in ministry, I was working as a nurse as well as performing the active duty of a mother to two school-aged children. My heart’s desire as a nurse was to spend quality bedside time with my patients, but somehow I found myself being moved out of bedside patient care and into administrative work, which culminated in my function as the Director of Nursing. The weight of responsibilities was so great that I felt like everything could fall apart at the seams at any moment. During this season of my life the LORD imparted perseverance and increased confidence (faith) into me. He taught me that with Him ALL things are possible, and that I can trust Him as I put Him at the wheel of every situation, with me seeking and waiting for His direction in each step.

Through pain, struggle and trials of every kind we are being strengthened and transformed in our inner man for the accomplishing of ALL things through our lives.

“… Gideon, Barak, Samson,
Jephthah, David, Samuel and the prophets – who through faith conquered kingdoms, administered justice, and gained what was promised; who shut the mouths of lions, quenched the fury of the flames, and escaped the edge of the sword; whose weakness was turned to strength; and who became powerful in battle and routed foreign armies.” Hebrews 11:32-34

Mazol Tov! We successfully ran the race all the way through 2015 … we fought the good fight by seeking, clinging and being dependent upon Father God, with trust in Jesus’ Blood for the destruction of sin and darkness in our lives. We HAVE been victorious! Be assured of this, it is not the perfection of our lives that makes us victorious, but it is the steadfast perseverance to keep pressing into Father God against the winds, and to get back up with a new Spirit-in filling when we fall.

Meeting each challenge in Jesus gives forth victories. True victory is to firstly seek and learn how to love God, and secondly to run the race that He has called you to run, unto the end of your days. In these days that are nearing Yeshua’s return, the challenges are coming one after another, with a fierceness and a force. Keep pressing into Jesus and looking up for Father’s love and direction.

Father God does not expect perfection, but rather progress. Don’t allow the devil to accuse and condemn you because you are not perfect. The Blood of Jesus is sufficient for you, and your perfection is not the requirement to succeed. What is important is that there is a big “YES” in our heart toward God, and that we are being transformed from the inside out by the Spirit of God’s love and truth. Reach forward to 2016 with an upward gaze, and be assured, you have the victory in Jesus!

Last month I shared the beginning of my story- that you are now a part of. I shared of the strong faith developed during my childhood. At the age of 18 though, this faith was shook dramatically. While attending Michigan State University, I encountered students of a wide variety of cultural and religious beliefs. Questions raced through my mind as to whether I had merely been brainwashed by my family and church to believe in Jesus. I hungered to know Truth, and I avidly searched for it through attending philosophy classes, Bible studies, asking others about their beliefs, and crying out to the Lord at night.

I prayed for 5 years, telling God that I could no longer believe in Him unless He would reveal Himself as Lord, and that He would also send me a man from Himself. Throughout these 5 years, I experienced no answer to my prayer. All of the strong foundations of God eroded, and my new life became a pursuit of whatever would bring me instant pleasure. My life spiraled down into darkness and a depraved state, lacking any inner peace. At this lowest point of my life, I encountered my Jewish neighbor who I knew from high school. He shared his vision and revelation of Jesus as Lord As he spoke, I felt the Spirit of God go through me, in answer to my deepest 5-year prayer, “I AM the Way, the Truth and the Life.” And yes, this Jewish neighbor became my husband, Rabbi Schneider! Together with you, we are Jew and Gentile, One in Messiah, building His Kingdom and preparing for His return!

My loving family of God, be of good cheer and gird your loins in the Gospel of our LORD and Savior. Yeshua (Jesus) has gone before us to pave the path to our Father’s Love. As we humbly fall to our knees each day and receive forgiveness for our sin of thoughts that are without regard for our Creator, we receive Father’s love and identity.

The LORD is truly our Shepherd and our compass. Be of good cheer, for we are in exciting times. We, more than ever before, hold the powerful keys to TRUE identity – which the world is desperate to find. In the same moments that the Supreme Court ruled in favor of same-sex marriage, Rabbi was preaching to the Kenyan people that their TRUE identity is found in having a relationship with Father God, their Creator. Be not intimidated by the foolishness of man who live apart from the knowledge of our Creator. Living apart from God, who created all things and created man, there is no life-giving knowledge, nor wisdom.

All is but filthy rags destined to fall and leave man in utter despair. Be of good cheer, oh Saints of the LORD, and proclaim the Gospel with boldness; for His Light is shining even brighter in the darkness, and He is coming soon!

“Yes, ma’am, I will get those oxygen tanks out to your dad’s apartment tomorrow morning.” The serviceman promised to deliver me the portable oxygen tanks for my elderly father Saturday morning, but Saturday morning came and went, and no oxygen serviceman appeared at our door. Day in and day out, I am faced with the reality of broken promises, broken people, and the fallible world which makes promises, and yet fails to deliver what was promised to me.

In the midst of the overwhelming emotions of anger and frustration that are triggered each day as we encounter our very broken world, the LORD calls us to push the reset button on our brain. He says, “I told you it would be this way, and even greater so in these end times. Pull back from the emotions of this situation, look up to Me, and move forward with the end in mind. I am the beginning, the middle and the end.

Release the broken people and broken promises and put your trust in My Son, your perfect sacrificial Lamb. He destroyed the power of evil and brokenness, and released My unconditional love and forgiveness into your heart. Release the wheel to Me, and let Me go before you. Watch, listen and follow as I lead you in every situation.”

You are undefiled by the twisted darkness of this world. Open my eyes, O Lord, to see Your creation in its purest essence. This world is overflowing and exploding with Your beauty. Deep beauty results when a sin-tainted heart and soul are transformed by You. You take what Satan meant for evil, and You cleanse- making whole and strong.

Open my eyes, O Lord, to see Your life beaming brilliantly into this world, beaming new life and new hope. Death where is your sting? For even death is defeated, through the Blood of my Savior. Open my eyes, O Lord, to see that everything on this earth was created for You and me to enjoy, and have dominion over. You created this earth, in its continual motion, with perpetual change and bubbling up of newness. It breathes of You – my Creator. Your essence, breathed into this world and our earthen vessels is beauty.

Perfect love is Your essence. Lord, breathe Your essence and identity into my being, and I will drink of Your unending wells of love.

Satan and his cohorts are continually working against us to rob us of the life, joy and color, which Yeshua has purchased for us. Color and beauty are not appreciated in our every day lives.

We can change this dynamic! The Holy Spirit is calling us to start each day by spending time with Him each morning for the purpose of seeing the face of Heaven in our midst. As you spend time with Him, close your eyes and talk to God. Express your deepest thoughts and emotions; release all things to Him. Seek forgiveness for not thinking of Him first over all other things. Ask Him into your heart, mind and emotions! Listen for the LORD’s subtle voice through impressions, words, or pictures as He speaks into your heart, spirit, or mind.

God desires us to be alert to His presence around us and in us. It is time to appreciate the sun when it’s shining and experience the innocence, security, and joy of a child. It is time to revel in all of the colors that surround us! Shapes and structures such as trees and buildings can stimulate our artistic senses. Do you hear the birds singing today? The LORD’s beauty is all around every moment of every day!

Praise God for the fresh year of 2015, birthed into existence by the Mighty hand of Elohim, our Creator God!

Do you sometimes feel desperate, alone, and void of any hope in yourself and anyone else around you? Are you often wondering how you can go on in the face of all of the pain, hurt, and dysfunction that exists all around you? Elohim, Creator-God, has seen it fit to birth the year of 2015 into existence. What this means to you is this: there is hope. He is crying out with a message of hope for a new day, hope for a new way, hope of creating order and function out of chaos and dysfunction, hope for healing the hurt and pain, and hope for a deep in-filling of your soul that longs for love, relationship and fellowship.

God has come down to man, for the forgiveness of all sin and darkness, which weighs us down. Yeshua makes way for a deep and fulfilling love relationship with our Creator, Father God. It is 2015 and our Messiah has prepared the way for a new year of Hope … K.I.S.S.

In my letter to you last month, we saw that our essence (our inherent, unchanging nature) is that of a relational being. This is due to our Creator’s first and foremost intent to make us for the purpose of having a relationship with Him. In this darkened and blinded world that we live in, a world resting in a bed of Satan’s lies and deceptions; the truth of our essence and purpose (having intimate relationship with our Creator) is often robbed from us.

Are you feeling lost, purposeless, and/or alone? The LORD says, “Seek Me, and you will find Me.” He knows that He created us for relationship with Him. Having positive relationships with others will be a natural overflow of our primary, focused relation- ship with Him. Relating to our Creator in love will result in knowing our true essence and purpose, as defined by our Creator.

KISS from your Creator …

Who are you? What is your essence? You are the creation of a relational God, who has designed your main essence and purpose to be relational: in relationship with God and with others. This is a fact that cannot be denied. Every deep pain and dysfunction of man is related to the lack of experiencing loving, caring relationships with others.

Rabbi and his team travel to the poorest of poor areas in the world and have witnessed that when people are poor, but in loving, caring relationships with God, family and/or others, then there is joy and a strong drive for life. If we watch the lives of those who are wealthy, perhaps full of knowledge and intelligence, and maybe even famous, we will observe their lives end in despair, disease and death without a loving relationship with God, family, and/or others. Our Father God, Who built us, created us to be relational and in relationship with Him. He knows that nothing else will satisfy the deepest longings of our heart.

As you march onward and upward in Messiah Jesus, you will not lose. Though darkness surrounds you, you will NOT be overtaken nor defeated. His Love conquers all… trust in Father God’s Son, Whom He sent for you, to save you and to re- deem you, specifically. Trust in Father God’s Love, which reaches down amidst all the odds that are against you, to grant you favor and victory. March on; leaning on your Beloved One, to the finish line… not my will, oh LORD, but Thy will be done! Amen

What burdens or heaviness are you carrying, dear ones of the LORD? Each and every individual has a load that they carry, but it is in how we carry these burdens that determines our joy in life. Your life is as a diamond and a gift that the LORD has given you; look at your life and its burdens from the angle of Philippians 4:4-8 (paraphrased): Rejoice in the Lord always… by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made known to God… dwell on what is the good truth in Jesus. Experience the brilliant, shimmering beauty of your diamond by changing to a different and positive view of your life. Thank the LORD and rejoice for the suffering, weakness, and each “thorn-in-the-flesh”; for it is these “tough things” that keep us in the Love of God.

The Heavy burdens that we bear keep us looking to our Supernatural Maker and Savior. God knows that nothing else is more important then you looking up to Him, the Creator and Savior, to receive His hand of love reaching down to you. He requires nothing more.

Look up, for your Redeemer loves and He lives, and He will care for every detail of your life. Rejoice always, for even your darkness becomes light in His hands of love and mercy!

Taste and see that the LORD is good! (Psalms 34:8) Have you tasted? Have you walked in Jesus today to experience life in its depth and breadth? Yeshua is calling us to “taste” and “see” today. He is calling us to let go of doing what we have always done, to get more than what we have always gotten. He is calling us to new heights and depths of life; tasting and seeing as we have never tasted nor seen before. Today we have a choice: we can see this day as every other day, being a day in the weak and oppressed blindness of ourselves and how our society sees; or, we can see as Jesus sees: above and below the surface of life and to experience real, eternal Life… to “taste” and to “see.”

In Jesus’ day, He was surrounded by a blind people who did what they had always done, getting what they had always gotten. He was surrounded by a people who were oppressed and blindly following the ways of their society; never looking up to experience the heights and depths of life or the righteousness of a living God who loved them.

In our recent trip to Kenya, people in very remote areas who had never heard the Gospel of Jesus stopped their daily striving and walked for many miles to come to the Crusade Festival with Rabbi Schneider. They were looking up and they were looking deeper than the surface to find what their hearts and souls needed most… the God of Life and Hope. Around 1,000 persons at these meetings received Jesus into their hearts. Many received supernatural healings and all were touched by the living, eternal God that is reaching down to touch and give “taste” and “sight” to His people.

Cease from your striving today; look up to talk to your Father God! Storm the gates of Heaven in prayer for Heaven to come down into your daily life. You can expect to hear from and experience our supernatural God. For through the blood of Jesus, ALL things are possible. Taste, feel and experience in your inner heart and soul, the living and loving God who’s been pursuing you. Rest yourself in Him who holds ALL things together and who holds all that you need … Life and Love.

What a delight to share with you this good report from the Discovering The Jewish Jesus team! We are witnessing the LORD and His Word running swiftly with Power and Effect to the utter ends of the earth (Acts 1:8)! Beloved ones, through the power of the Holy Spirit that reaches hearts and the blood of Jesus with its power to forgive and wash away all darkness, Father God is bringing His children into His bosom of love. He is bringing in His children and preparing them to be the Bride of His Beloved Son, Jesus. The Discovering The Jewish Jesus ministry team witnessed this in our recent ministry trip to Kenya and we thank you for being God’s engine to make this possible!

YOU are part of the LORD’s team on earth that is taking God’s Word around the globe. Matthew 18:18-20 reveals that, “whatever you bind on earth will be bound in heaven, and whatever you loose on earth will be loosed in heaven … if two of you on earth agree about anything they ask for, it will be done for them by my Father in heaven. For where two or three gather in my name, there am I with them.” The power of God is released through our unity in Messiah Jesus. As we partner together, each of us are strengthened by the Spirit of God that moves within this ministry, and we become the engine of God to take His Truth and Love to the ends of the earth … and then, comes the return of our LORD and Savior! HALLELUJAH!

Beloved Saints of our Father God: keep pressing into Yeshua, Jesus! You are making a difference. Do not let the false witnesses and false reports of the enemy tell you that you just keep failing and that you are not making a difference. You are vessels of the earth carrying the Spirit of God in a dark, fallen, and blinded world. Of course it is difficult and of course you will stumble and fall, but the difference between you and the world is that you have been chosen and called out with the Blood of Jesus covering mistakes and failures to transform even your ashes into beauty.

Precious Ones of God: we are taking the message of Jesus’ Love and power to Third World nations who are crying out for God. Sadly, they have no money to pay for these crusades. Please pray for the LORD to raise-up appointed donors to fund the crusades and the broadcasting of Discovering The Jewish Jesus. Pray for all obstacles to be removed so that the crusades, and God’s purposes for them, will be fulfilled. Pray for the Spirit of God to reign in and through Rabbi, myself, and the Discovering The Jewish Jesus team. Pray for the crusades to have impact to set the captives free and for Yeshua’s Bride to be readied for His return! Hallelujah and Amen!

We love you deeply, oh Saints of God; we pray for the LORD’s blessings to flow freely into your hearts!

I am excited to have a new part in the DJJ Newsletters! Beloved Partners, I am behind the scenes praying for you and supporting my husband with ALL that is within me! My heart is for Yeshua’s Glory to shine to all the world through this ministry, my husband, and each of you! The Spirit of Jesus within us TRULY is the super (above the) natural Hope that every human being is needy for.

In this new section of the newsletter, I hope to impart golden nuggets of God’s Truth that, by the vehicle of His Spirit, will equip you to see the world that surrounds you from God’s viewpoint.

Rabbi and I, as many of you, lead a very busy lifestyle. As I seek the things above, I find I also have to deal with the things below! Wow! What a challenge!! As we travel from place to place I am continually seeking to stay in God’s peace and yet also complete all of the mundane tasks of keeping our home clean and organized, making meals, doing laundry, and handling the details of the ministry with its deadlines and responsibilities. After warfaring to get to the airport or to get into my car for travel to the next ministry engagement, I am exhausted, overwhelmed and fearful that I have forgotten an important detail. I feel far from perfect in my ability to make everything “perfect”!

As I settle into my car, or into the airplane, relinquishing all of my failures and inadequacies to Yeshua, and calling on HIS adequacy and perfection to cover my life, then the miracle begins to occur! Jesus washes away my inadequacies and the Holy Spirit begins to fill my heart and mind with His Hope and His Vision of my life. As I ascend up in the plane, I get a new vision and a new perspective. I look down from the plane and find that all of the hustle and bustle below, with its traffic jams and stress, starts fading away. My vision changes and I see a beauty of organized, symmetrical streets, green pastures, mountains, and turquoise lakes and rivers. Everything is flowing with an order and a beauty beyond ourselves. Above the clouds, I find that the sun is always shining. The Holy Spirit speaks, “Beyond yourself with inadequacies and failures, and the mundane that you wrestle with, I am shining and transforming even your darkness into my Light and Divine plans for your life. The Blood of Jesus is sufficient for your inadequacies and I promise to complete the good work that I have begun in your life.”

“Fix your eyes not on what is seen, but on what is unseen. For what is seen is temporary, but what is unseen is Eternal.” (2 Corinthians 4:18)
